Right?? WTF I can't believe people are actually talking about this!

Root beer is absolutely the best thing ever invented.

CRAP EMAIL FROM A DUDE! I miss that so hard.

Yes! I want to talk video games, but despite really enjoying some of the Kotaku writers there's no way I'm wading into the comments section there.

Yeeeeeeeessssssssssss! 'How I work' is one of my favourite bits of Lifehacker and I would love to see a woman-focused version.

Definitely seconding practical tips for living alone (I think similar ideas have come up elsewhere)!

I would love to see more recaps at Jezebel and I would LOVE to see you collaborating with Mark (or Colin) on just about anything! Seriously, you guys could recap a golf match (are they matches? Whatever it's called when a bunch of dudes in silly clothes hit tiny balls with big sticks and it inexplicably winds up on

That would be great! I think in the past we learned a lot of those things from our parents, but that's really broken down in the last couple of generations. Things like hemming trousers, batch cooking, cleaning with baking soda, etc - like a "make do and mend" kind of thing.

I think I'd like that just as much as a book club and they could be really complimentary projects. There are SO MANY new books coming out all the time, it would be great to have summaries to point Jez readers to what's out there!

I love this idea! Especially if it could be an added bonus to the written interviews rather than a replacement. Sorry, I know that means more work but the written interviews are great for taking notes and pulling out quotes that are relevant (I just sent the section about how Ira creates structured stories from

I know this is a really old article, but I was wondering whether there was any possibility of this tagged RSS functionality being brought back for Gawker sites? I read quite a few of the Gawker sites but sometimes miss things when I'm skimming on my phone, for example, so it would be really handy to be able to get RSS

People from the UK - and, I'm assuming, parts of the Commonwealth where they also use the (very useful) word fortnight. It's much more elegant than 'every other week'.

Holy shit, I was getting scared for you as I read that! Glad everybody was okay and that you (and your cat) lived to tell the tale. I'm pretty anti-gun but I can totally understand wanting one in that situation.

Eh, I see personality quizzes the same way I see astrology: meaningless, but fun.

Yeah, that was my problem - what can I say that makes sense in both the US and UK? But you're right, it doesn't come up in conversation that much.

As an American living in he UK, this one drives me crazy! I can't bring myself to say Oriental in reference to people, so I end up saying "from the Indian subcontinent" (which is admittedly a mouthful and sounds a bit odd) and "Eastern Asian" unless I know what country someone's from. And even that phrasing really

Yes, I tried to edit my comment after it posted but waited to long so wasn't able to. I've looked into this a bit and it seems that in the US, morning-after pills are required to print on their information leaflets that they may work by preventing implantation, but there is no similar wording on the packaging in the

Yeah, I think it really depends on the individual. I know some people who go without shaving and deodorant and smell perfectly fine, but I also know a couple that really could use the deodorant. For now I'll stick to shaving AND deodorant.

Yeah, I've been swimming regularly for about a year and a half now and my legs are pretty frequently unshaven at the pool. Nobody in the pool seems to care, and I'm not the only unshaven one there either. I occasionally do shave my legs but probably only once every 2-3 months - and when I do shave it's mostly because
