We cross shopped a loaded CX-5 against a CPO Audi. We arrived at the Mazda dealer and it was fairly busy. We asked the women at the front desk if we could speak to a salesperson as the one free sales guy sitting at his desk made no effort to come to us. The sales guy got up and asked, “Do you have an appointment?”

It is about 200 lbs lighter than a Golf R, which is the most similar VW to compare it against.

How many Pontiac Le Mans raced in Le Mans?

TT is in reference to the Isle of Man TT race.

The current 8S TT drives differently than a GTI. Also, a new TT isn’t more than double the price of a GTI. The TT starts at $44900, the GTI is $27500. If you option the GTI up to have similar equipment you are at around $34k. So for $10k you get AWD and a body structure that is 69% aluminum.

My 8S TT is my only car (that drives) and I have had little issue with it not being practical enough. It holds my weekly groceries in the trunk (but you have to watch out as the one end is shallow), and with the rear seats folded down it has pretty good cargo carrying capability.

1999 and 2001 were both built under GM ownership.

The references to local places in PA is the only reason I am still subscribed. When I first started watching his videos years ago, I thought, “holy shit, that looks like Kutztown, PA!” Nothing good has come out of Kutztown since Keith Herring attended KU. However, when trying to find out who RCR was when I discovered

I hope Gritty hunts you down in your nightmares.

I think this is a move in the right direction but they overshot. Sure, kill the studio, kill the celeb segments. But I will miss the “reviews” of new cars. Season 2 through ~10 was the best of the Top Gear series, just remove the celebrity segments.

Family had an 87, parking brake was on the rear. I believe the change coincided with the facelift of 87

The interior mainly. It is understatedly stylized and very simple. There is no center screen, buttons are hidden into the vents. Audi likes to talk about how they got the inspiration from bauhaus architecture, but maybe it isn’t your interpretation. So please direct your complaints to Audi or your favorite

I think Audi really got it right with the MKIII TT. It drives great, like an enhanced MK7 AWD GTI, the styling is on point, thoughtful and very bauhaus

I own a MKIII TT, it was extremely expensive when new but they are a great buy used. It is a great all purpose car for someone that doesn’t need to haul other people around. It looks great, interior is fantastic, handling is so much better than the MKVI GTI that I replaced (the car even likes to put the tail out

So, maybe I missed it in the article but where was this found?

Since this engine has a lot emissions, can they stop pretending that the V6 F1 cars are green and just go back to V8s, V10s or V12s?

Oh wow, an article from two years ago, and one from three years ago, about a mugging on the MFL. The MFL has over 180,000 people ride it daily. So if we are quoting an incident from two years ago, it sounds pretty safe to me. By your logic all public transit is unsafe as all public transit has had muggings occur on it.

Was I the only one confused on where to go? No address, it just said go to the Navy Yard, problem is the Navy Yard is a big place. So I drive down Broad and into the Navy Yard, I thought I would see signs but I did not, so I just randomly drove around. I happened to take a left and see a sign that said “spectators,”

MKIV VWs, Izuzu Vehicross and Pontiac Aztec (they look like modern cars, despite being so different when they were new)

What an odd photo for a company to release. “Here is a picture just before we killed an animal.”
