He doesn’t mention any rust. A NA8 with no rust for under $2500 with maintenance is NP all day everyday.

NO doesn’t stick around for long though, does it? Philly had decreased vehicle traffic during the pope visit and the skies cleared up quickly.
So the whole company should burn and not just those that are liable? People went to jail, VW is pledging to clean energy, they made owners who were screwed over more than whole, paid fines to every government organization....
NOx is a greenhouse gas, it is natually occuring. It does not shorten lifespans through consumption. It does contribute to warming and affects the atmosphere 4 times more than CO2 per pound. About 5% of all greenhouse gas emissions are NOx. Has VW created amount that has skewed this 5% number?
Neutral: “A company lied to me and then gave me compensation where my car only cost me like $7000 in depreciation over 5 years of ownership. Bring them to their knees, destroying a company and creating a huge economic impact where innocent people lose their jobs is the only thing that will make me happy”
VR6 is a very popular engine in the VW community. Also, plenty of turbo and supercharger kits for the engine.
Ok, a few people have modded them, but they never really caught on.
I love Hum. Such huge guitar sounds. For years I never knew what the band looked like, but I always had this mental image in my head of who could be making this wall of sound. Finally a few years ago, with the thanks of YouTube, I was able to look them up and saw a bunch of dorky looking guys making this music. Mind…
I always liked the Eos. I can’t believe that tuners aren’t having fun with the 3.2 VR6 version since they hit the used market long ago. 250 HP, like a front wheel drive R32
This isn’t a test for new cars, this is a test for a street car, they can be new or old.
The air-conditioning requirement is dumb. Lots of street cars come with no AC
When I have unlimited space (ie win the lottery) I will have the turbo version, if I can find one.
Well, you definitely don’t capitalize every word in the title like this title. My recollection is if the word is 3 letters or less, it is lower case unless it is first or last word, or important word.
You aren’t supposed to capitalize every word in a title. I believe it should be written this way:
He used a Ford Taurus. The photo for this post shows a Fusion. I thought this was a car blog with some integrity?
It comes with an air pump, maybe it has fix a flat as well. But fix a flat is nasty stuff, can ruin your wheel and won’t seal every leak
MK7, the Golf R that you buy new today, does not have a spare in the USA
The Golf R not having a spare is a big reason on why I didn’t buy one. The car comes factory with non-runflat 19s with 35 series tires. You need a spare tire, especially in the NorthEast.
The spare tire was removed to save cost. People retrofit a spare tire buy buying the European foam that goes under the trunk floor, or by cutting the foam.
I was looking at buying a Golf R. I was surprised when it didn’t have a spare, but horrified to see that instead of a spare it had a “Fender” branded subwoofer. It’s a $40k car, I’m in my 30s, it felt cheesy, immature and misplaced.
