I seriously do not understand the hate. And I think Lachlan is a perfectly fine name. Make up some name - people hate. Use longstanding traditional name - people hate. Seems like some around here won't be happy until the baby name list looks like their class list from 1988.

A one-year old is just learning to walk, tentatively toddling across the living room. A fifteen month old is running from room to room, tearing into everything, proving your worthlessness at “babyproofing” your own home. There is absolutely a difference.

I hear people say things like this and I just can’t conceive of how it’s possible. My seven-month-old won’t let me out of her line of sight anymore and she wants me to entertain her constantly. I can barely go to the bathroom, nevermind fold laundry or cook.

I am personally pro-choice but see nothing wrong with someone saying “I understand you are offering me a termination at no cost, but I don’t feel I can conscionably terminate this pregnancy. The fact that I am not comfortable with abortion is the reason I was wanting birth control in the first place.”
