So you stand for people’s right to protest? Because that’s what the taking a knee is. You may not agree with what they’re protesting, but they have a right to do so. Just like you have a right to not fund a corporation for...providing you with the means to watch it? Why, exactly, are people upset with satellite… Read more
Nobody is gonna see this, but for all the white folk freaking out, here are a few tips. As someone from a mixed race family who came out looking white, I’m quite aware of the power my skin has in society. I know I’m privileged in a way my aunts aren’t and my grandma wasn’t. You’re right, the term is inaccurate and when referring to such a sensitive subject I should be more clear.
There’s quite a bit of science out there regarding transgender people. It’s innate and has more to do with how someone’s actual brain is hardwired (this is a rather simplistic explanation, I know). We can pretend that the U.S. doesn’t have a problem unless it’s a group… Read more
I get what you’re saying, maybe I should have been more clear. The defense can’t get up there and half-ass it even if their client is guilty, so while I kinda hate the blame-the-victim strategy, I understand that he has an ethical duty to defend his client. I just love that the cop wasn’t making it easy for him.
The most they can do now is fire him. I hope they did, I can’t remember what it said.
