Japan’s a “white country” now?

In the movie, I found the actress that played Eponine (the older one) to be racially ambiguous.

I have to confess - as I’m a Korean-American. Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my all-time favorite films. I can totally understand though.

I prefer gay men because they'll be really fuckin honest with you. Plus they want you to look fabulous. They know what they're doing man.

Good for you. My opionion: Rihanna is comfortable with herself? Possibly. She seems, to me, to be suffering from a non-identity crisis. She's here, there , everywhere. Not comfortable with herself because (sorry, honey), she is pretty much a self confessed poser. She has given interviews: according to her , she can't

It is in no way mocking their accents. The butt of the joke, ultimately, is the restaurant employees who couldn’t understand what they were saying. At no point during the story are the customers criticized, because clearly they were nice people who do not deserve criticism.

I really wish I had know about the seven sisters when I applied for colleges. I went to Big State School and while I enjoyed my time there, I think I would enjoyed a small women’s liberal arts college even more.

Most women’s colleges that have adopted a formal policy on transgender applicants will not allow a trans man to apply to the college, but will allow students who transition after they’ve enrolled to stay enrolled.

Most of them are among the most elite in the country.

I love your dress! You look so happy and cute!

This was simply an “n” word search. Had it been geared towards Hispanic or Asian slurs, I’m sure the left coast would have upped its game quite a bit.

I know this is not a new or unique issue, but I’m frustrated and feel like shouting into the void: WHY ARE THERE SO FEW WEDDING DRESSES WITH SLEEVES?! Sleeveless is such a niche; for people who love their arms and shoulders and boobs, whose boobs play well with bodices and who aren’t going to be cold all fucking day.

I’m pretty sure his parents were relatively wealthy and influential in Kentucky.

A friend of mine has the second higher Delta status you can get, something like Vice-Queen Regent of the Sky. She’s a graduate student and flies basically everywhere for conferences and conventions (some of which she helps organize). Since the beginning of the years she’s done roundtrips from Japan/Canada,

I’m sure I’ll get a lot of shit for this, but I just cant manage to muster up any sympathy for this girl or her mother. Where dress codes are sexist or unequally applied, I acknowledge and accept that shining a light on it and shaming the administrators can be a good thing. No one should be made to feel shitty simply

Yeah she even had a pair of flats. just wear the flats. When you are that close to getting out of there why would to risk it? The school already proved they are ridiculous.

It’s ridiculous that they withheld her diploma for this and that the school dress code is not being applied uniformly to everyone.

But sorry people, dress codes really should be enforced when you have freaking grown ups thinking it’s okay to go out in public in their pajama bottoms, bath robes or their beer guts

My husband managed to take 2 months off with our last kid, and I took a full year of leave. It was ideal, I felt very comfortable returning to work.

@SugarSugar: But. Beyonce IS CURVY. She has a teeny-tiny waist, big hips, full boobs and booty, and muscular thighs. How is this not curvy by Western society's standards? Allowing that Beyonce is curvy does not automatically make you or anyone else obese. It is not an indictment of you or Lastbroadcast because you may

I know that 'curvy', as of late, has been swapped in to describe non-thin (also known as 'fat') women, but seriously - why on earth can't Beyoncé be curvy AND thin?
