is it just me or would a stereo delete been more exciting than a silly infotainment option?

"If this wasn't semi-production it would be close to $300 to build"....but when you factor that the $180 is only the starting price and knowing that with a few of those otions it will be well in to the $200's you're getting awfully close to that figure for what is inevitably one of many (or maybe one of few, but

I agree. I think he has mis-read the market. The guy willing to spend $180k or more on a custom hotrod does not want it to be like anyone else's. Kind of the pint of "custom".

See the last gen Cadillac CTS for a solution.... A motorized screen that retracts in to the dash would have been the classy thing to do. Instead they went with something that allows them to streamline production (to save a few bucks) by standardizing dashboards across trim levels. Lazy and cheap.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Here is the thing though: Bluetooth is a wireless networking standard. See how they use the word "standard"? This means you don't need to test every single device out there with every single software version. Everyone else seems to be able to make it work for things like wireless headsets, speakers, etc.

Well depending on your parking situation and the cost of insurance buying a $25k used truck and a $20k used RV OR a $35k used boat (many have one but not the other) it might not make sense to operate a second vehicle.

I get it...but I always see these comments saying "no one needs more than a tacoma" and "they drive around town with nothing in the box on or the tongue". Maybe that's because no one takes their Mastercraft X-30 to the mall or their 34' 5th to pick up their kids from school. They take them out on the interstate to go

Your comment makes clear you've never towed anything over 5000lbs up a long grade or had to manage brake fade on a winding downhill mountain road.

Numbers 1, 2 and three are reamain on the books largely due to manufacturers lobbying for them. These regs allow them an additional layer of market/pricing control.

I don't think the argument is against all reflectors, just mandating that they be amber thus screwing with color and styling of a vehicle.

Yes, yes they are.

looks like most of the design has been retained...some hardend/sharpened edges seem to be all they've done really. I was hoping for more...

They come out with that shit because it's true. You sound like the guy with half his teetth swearing up an down WWE is real.

I think the biggest gripe about the Corolla was the rear suspension that uses a (poor) design from the 1960's.

That's the scary part....I know next to nothing about running a car company and even I know they're badly run.

Um, startup is term used to describe newly incorporated companies, not poorly run companies. (Long product development cycles , and lack of profits usually qualify as poorly run.)

Wasn't Tesla a startup in like 2003?

I think there is a middle ground that would help make the Caddy's an appealing option for those that are cross shopping.

Did you forget about V-Sport package for CTS? I suspect the ATS will get a similar treatment in due time.
