So his fanbase is a bunch of teenagers right? Not to sound cynical, but Idk why this is surprising anyone really

Oh damn I really thought Kass/Alexios was supposed to be a proto templar and the CUlt of Kosmos was a twisted version of the Assassins. I also never finished the game, I just thought thats where they were going with it lol

Sucker Punch is an odd developer for me, because while the Sly games have so much character, Infamous and Ghost are surprisingly plain open worlds with too-serious characters (I say that having enjoyed both games, and think Infamous 2 was underrated).

I would say Rogue is a better game except the 100% reused assets makes it seem like it was intended as DLC, and the co-pilot character has the goofiest voice acting that makes Col. Volgin sound oscar worthy

In slight defense of Odyssey though....*SPOILERS*...

The title of this article makes it seem like it will be a lot more nuanced, and I was interested to read, and then you boiled it down to “let Jin fck” and “Jonathan Dumont is a bad person,” essentially. Both are things I can probably agree with, but they don’t really support any particular argument. You just end it

Do you mean MGSV? Cuz 4 was CLUNKY.

The biggest flaw of Ghost isn’t Jin or even the sexlessness of the characters (which I found dull as well), but the fact that there isn’t a sense of real people living there. If you liberate a village on fire and come back 20 hours later in the campaign, it’s still on fire, and the villagers are still reacting to what

Nitpick here, but it wouldn’t necessarily be T’Challa as BP. Since it’s an older era, might be T’chaka or grandfather fwiw

But you think because he’s a black superhero they have some kind of obligation to explore Jim Crow laws? In a game set in Europe. With the character being from fictional Wakanda? WWII Europe is not really a controversial setting either. I don’t love Disney either, but maybe wait to see anything from the game first

OK thank you. It’s been a long time since I read Arabian Nights, and that summary seemed way off

Yeah there were some sequences there where I was reminded of MGS3 in a great way

Then reply to the OP, ya ding dong. I think he gets what the term means, but not the connotation here

Yea the level gating was a misstep for all 3. Nothing makes you feel less like an Assassin than having to stab someone 200+ times (plus clunky stealth)

If they had just spent a little more time refining the animations and AI, it would be my favorite AC. Egypt is possibly the coolest setting/one of the greatest maps of any open world game, but yea, they could have polished what was there instead of just adding more (Odyssey, Valhalla).

YES!

Considering how loosely S3 was based on the comic arc, and how future comic arcs were a refrain of the same “outed identity” idea, I think they could still use the same arc for inspo for D+. My guess is it takes place in a new reality, one where DD is a little more super powered (like Kingpin in Hawkeye), and

Just give us Jak 4 you dicks! Let’s close the door on this zombie shit

Kojima being mistaken as the killer, first as a bad joke, then as an actual news item believed by the public, has the makings of a Kojima story

The reason the movie fails is not because it *wasn’t* a Toy Story movie. The movie fails because it doesn’t even live up to its own premise. This movie could have been a great tongue-in-cheek take on 80's/90's sci-fi action movies. It needed a tone that was recognizable right away — or at least show us who Buzz is
