that was my first thought as well. There’s no chance that it doesn’t play a factor in the decision

Great movie!! I was lucky to see it at a festival
I think you’re right but it’s just a shame that all those games have inconsistent stealth (semi-understandable since they’re not the main pull of those games anyway).
Just replayed MGS4 and yeah...truer words were never spoken
I mean, I guess I’ll take it.
which of course kicked off the Avengers: Eye-C-U event by Bendis in which everyone reacts to the news of Hawkeye secretly being in Fury’s head, they question why they’re super heroes for several pages, and feelings are hurt
Dude someone did Frank Sinatra and you went with Sinat-eyes?! His nickname was Old BLUE EYES!!
Didn’t realize the song in the trailer is “X Gonna give it to ya” until the last 2 seconds and then I did a spit take laughing
nah fuck that guy
It’s not necessarily that the auto run and jump don’t make it a platformer but that the series isn’t really interested in making the platforming a challenge (which is a shame imo since it’s birthed from PoP) or demanding you get good at parkour.
don’t forget you’re also paying for it. A statue is something you have no choice with (unless you knock it over), a TV show on a streaming service is something that you pay for, and removing content from it is technically just taking value away from something you paid for.
yeah, in a post about game design, he’s talking about game design. What a dick!
Yep. All of those mechanics, even when the gameplay got repetitive, made it so rewarding. And it outshined the story missions so much it actually made me question whether the game should have even bothered with a set story (kind of something I return to wiht a lot of open world games)
Way more games should be cribbing the nemesis system or making something similar to it. It does so much to make it feel like you’re creating a story that I sank hours into that game while barely ouching the main story
Yeah I’m with you dude. The animus stuff is a hindrance to get through and always feels like no one involved actually cares much about it. Just spinning wheels.
In any way? There’s a definite line of comparison. Even the drones and animations are similar to Blacklist. Alas, gameplays not nearly as good
Exactly. I liked Origins but it was disappointing how much it just reinforced an extremely simple narrative and series conflict by the end.
Yeah I feel ya. WD2 had the saem feeling. I kept thinking “this is something I feel like I should like”, a punky open world Splinter Cell kind of game, but yeah there’s something tacky and corporate about it all
Splinter PRINCE!!
Yeah Unity had a distracting array of accents in English, so much that I turned the language to French and just followed the subtitles (recommended)
