I was a little let down by the action scenes too. They really had the chance to use hand to hand choreography and do things more grounded like the Cap films (and the scenes out of costume, oddly), and Coogler has demonstrated he can do great action with his work on Creed.

That casino planet is still uninspired but it definitely looks better than in the film

I was just about to say that: Fergie’s awfulness is one of those great communicators that bridges gaps of young/old, libs/cons, commoners/kings

Only if they can avoid the turgid pacing/filler episodes of Marvel’s netflix shows.

But isn’t he spoofing the Yakuza games? Correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve never played one where Kazuma uses guns

The original had a profound effect on me. The weird controls and camera didn’t really didn’t deter me and actually (similar to the MGS games) made me feel pride in getting used to it.

Kojima’s last bit of commentary

It’s not that Rey shouldn’t become powerful (even more so than Luke, Vader, etc if they wanted) it’s that she is so powerful that the need for her to learn from Luke at all seems superfluous. Hey that could be a great premise for a show

Not enough plant life either

He didn’t get ripped overnight. Has anyone seen Split? He clearly had to bulk up for that movie

If you think that is an example of something “insidious” in any way you need a new perspective. It’s a joke, and last time I checked, this was an M-rated game. This isn’t being forced on impressionable kids. Choose the baby difficulty and then have a laugh at yourself. Or don’t. Who cares?

It’s just a joke though. And it’s there to encourage you to get good (for those that want to). More specific difficulty settings are one issue, but pretending like a game maker is bullying you when that’s the game’s sense of humor is just being overly sensitive

is that a joke?

is that a joke?

“pop culture event, pop culture event, pop culture event, pop culture event,

Having something more fluid like the sword that directs sunlight towards where you need to go in Shadow of The Colossus would be a step in the right direction for most games. Or even a button that, when pressed, gives you the general direction you need to follow (symbols come up on the horizon when button is held
