Wow. Kingdom Hearts counted to 3 before Valve did. Considering they literally made several titles with the IP using decimals, I am mildly shocked.

Not being able to stock pile gifts is crap. I do it every sale. I don’t know how this has a damn thing to do with G2A since you don’t get CD keys when have gifts in your inventory.

If you’re intentionally depending on hardware that isn’t actually working correctly in order to play, that’s when it’s time for the game to die. It’s too damn old and just finding TV monitors to play on is getting more difficult. The game has passed its time.

This is the consensus of a lot of reviews, but frankly, I’m not buying it. I played both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie last year, and the original game still holds up as a great game. Is there N64-era awkwardness? Sure, but nothing large enough to really hold the game back.

What’s interesting to me is that Heather says that Yooka-Laylee is bloated and full of time-wasting fetch quests, which is my exact complaint about Banjo-Kazooie. So when I read that the makers of BK were making a spiritual successor in YL and I see YL is bloated and full of time-wasting fetch quests, my immediate

A lot of what you describe sounds familiar to me, and makes sense based on what I remember... I recall backtracking a lot in Banjo Kazooie, and hitting parts of the game that told me I had to go back to proceed forward. Mario 64, too.
