I had a TDI wagon before VW bought it back in the dieselgate scandal. If VW made a GTI version of the Sportwagen, I would have bought it. I did end up buying a GTI though.

You’re holding on too tight. You’ve lost the edge. Turn in your wings.
That was my joke..
There’s some definite issues going on here.
You seem to have a serious chip on your shoulder. While I’ve certainly encountered a few jerks here and there (in ANY town), I’ve haven’t had any issues in Laguna like that at all. What do all of these incidents have in common?
There’s nothing particularly fancy about the Pavillions in Laguna Beach. It’s a slightly-nicer Vons at best. And I don’t think they have any kind of full service carving station. Sounds more like a Gelsons.
And the flavor is stronger when it’s dehydrated/rehydrated. Why? No idea. It just is. I’m a big hash brown fan and I’ve made them many ways, many times. I only do the dehydrated ones now.
Sorry, they key to delicious hashbrowns isn’t to use fresh potatoes, but to use dehydrated/rehydrated potatoes. Costco has them usually, Kroger, Amazon has some.
It sounds delicious, probably less so to the vegetarians.
Potato cakes is where’s it at.. not curly fries. They’re lesser-known, delicious and always made fresh!
I have a variety of funds and my rate of return has been pretty high over the last 10 years. I just logged in to Vanguard and wanted to check. Being in a longer term bull market certainly helps that. Starting off, it’s hard to go wrong with just opening an account with Vanguard and just putting your money in something…
I didn’t catch this but my wife did when she watched it (and I re-watched it with her). The muzak in the background during the drugstore fight was LeAnn Rimes “How do I live without you”.. but lyrics include “how do I breathe without you”. No way that’s not intentional for the wheezy terminator.
Mex Peru Gipsy has a yummy Lomo (and cerviche) ;) They’re in the fashion district in downtown LA and they’ve been there 40 years. More Mexican options than Peruvian but the Peruvian owner is super-nice and passionate about the food. I’ve been there a few times and go out of my way to hit it if I’m up in LA and in…
Salty mayo. I went slightly more than 1/2 teaspoon salt and it’s still pretty salty. I’ve never had Dukes to compare it to.
Pepto is nice, Immodium is key.
Palm oil is also pretty terrible for you, it’s high in saturated fat.
Honey butter is really the only reason I like corn bread. It’s just a honey-butter delivery system for me.
Your link is to Walmart and the price is 2x what you mention. Wrong link?

Wishing you the best Drew! And damn it, now I have that damn Chopped gif stuck in my mind again.
I am so disappointed I didn’t see 52 Assistants when I worked literally next door to it. My client that I worked at for years occupied all of those buildings and it wrapped around that little theater at Sunset/La Cienega. I saw the marquee, walked by it every day and had no idea who he was then, or at least how…
