The fully legit investigations will fill their plate. They won’t even have time for the BS troll investigations.

I think at a bare minimum they dabble with Scientology. Or they started and left. Or, they’re lying about not being members.  There’s no way a non-Scientologist starts a school teaching “tech” if they aren’t members.

Valley Girl has a pretty amazing soundtrack.  Great 80s songs including the Plimsouls and the Sparks among others, ending with “I’ll melt with you”.

I transfered from a JC so when I started my first year at my 4 year school I decided to live in an on-campus apartment for my first year there. I was 21 and a bartender. My apartment had a full-blown bar including glass racks on the ceiling, the whole bit.

So where are the knives made?  Victorinox are made in Switzerland.  Since they’re not mentioning where the knives are made, I assume China.

The penalty for this isn’t being made an orphan.  Try some empathy sometime, sheesh.

A very fussy version.  I’m sure it’s good, but mine are probably pretty close and WAY less effort, time and cleaning.

The other problem with reviews is only people who are pissed off usually bother to review unless actively solicited. And even then, many happy customers won’t bother. Negatives are disproportionately represented.

Is there nothing this administration doesn’t lie about? It seems just so casual and routine for them.

To me, it’s a dead ringer for a Scientology-produced propaganda video.

Another Audible gem that hardly anyone seems to be aware of since Audible hides it so well is a complementary subscription to either a NY Times or Wall Street Journal audio digest Monday-Friday. I listen to it on the way to my office each morning. It’s 50 minutes, so 25 at 2x speed. Totally free with an audible

I’ve been listening to the great courses lectures for years. I was super-excited to see them arrive on Audible recently where they become even more affordable. I’ve easily taken 25 courses over the years, either direct from the Great Courses or now on Audible. Not all are available for audio only (say Astronomy) but

Apparently I had too many of the shakes before posting. I mainly had the Chambord in my mind and added the Frangelico, spacing out that it had been mentioned.

Back in the day I was a bartender at a restaurant that did have ice cream. We’d make shakes occasionally for the cocktail waitresses and there are a couple of great (our favorite) choices you left out:

I flew upstairs in business class to Frankfurt on Lufthansa once and it was so nice. Your only little world up there and it’s a lot quieter than the main level downstairs. I’m glad I was able to get upstairs once at least..

As an ecommerce site owner for nearly 20 years, I can absolutely confirm this happens all the time. It’s super-common to have a tracking number show as delivered yet show up a day or 2 later. Only with USPS, not UPS.

Also, it’s never too late to invest in “insert any bubble item here (housing, tulips, bitcoin, MLM schemes). The feeling that it’s never too late and only upside is still ahead is usually before a bubble pop.

Bitcoin is NOT investing, it’s wild speculation. Fine for 5% of your portfolio if you feel like it, but anything that can go up or down 30 or 40% in a couple days without easily explainable reasons is just gambling.

I don’t live there but have been there at least 30 times and love the city.

Pedway tours are really interesting and are suitable for lousy weather since they’re almost entirely underground. I agree about the CAF - I’ve done a few walking tours when weather permits. I love Chicago architecture.
