Fair point. You just put it in the building code, though. Nearly all municipalities follow the IBC - international building code for oversight and approval of new construction.

Your points are sound, but you omit consideration of the relative greenhouse gas emissions. Open pit mining might be horrific to look at, but it doesn’t belch (as much) methane and other GHGs as fossil fuel extraction and refining. Obviously we need renewable energy to refuel our BEVs or the point is moot.
Well once we smarten up a tiny bit, residential building codes will require it. 2/3rds of americans park in a private driveway, carport, or garage - if the other 1/3 in apartments needs to keep gasoline vehicles for a while, thats fine.
There’s a lot of ways to intelligently store grid-scale energy that don’t rely on lithium batteries, you know.
I mean, they would have to prove intent, for it to be fraud, right? Otherwise its just your pure bad luck that the junkyard beater happened to strike a curb or wall on the 4th day of insured ownership, right?
So, fuck this dealer, but used car prices are truly crazy right now, and frankly, KBB is behind the curve vs reality on the street.
Do agree, love me a volvo wagon. They are too expensive and rare for me to own one here in Michigan. I bought my ‘19 Golf Alltrack for $22.5k brand new (and then sold it to carvana for 30.5k after two years).
Jesus. Those photos look like you went down into an abandoned copper mine and found some antique equipment to restore.
Andy, my man. You need to leave New Jersey, and see more of the country.
Nah I mean they are plenty responsive and quite powerful, as far as new GTDI engines go. Just have some turbo lag at low rpm, like any turbo engine does.
Chill out, herr vanderplug. I was thinking automotive/light duty. Sorely mistaken on the HD pickup diesels, indeed.
It’s basically a tractor with automotive cladding.
Not only is it a wrangler competitor, it’s a bigger, heavier one with ridiculous 35" tires. No complaining about your shitty driving experience, it’s exactly what you chose to buy.
I see other people saying the same things, but I’m here to argue (apparently) that of course turbo lag is still a thing. In 9th or 10th gear, highway speeds at 1500-1800 rpm, the turbos will take several seconds to attain full boost. If you want quick power, it will require a downshift. That also takes time, and isn’t…
My mistake! you are most certainly correct. Dunno why I was convinced of that, oh well.
What was it ?!?
Most people would agree that the cummins is a better motor, for almost all the vintages of the B. But in this era (early 2000s) they came in the absolute shittiest truck imaginable, the dodge ram. Constant electrical malfunctions, a dashboard that explodes into pieces, seats that dissolve into dust, a body that rusts…
Just minor note, the 7.3 powerstroke do have EGR. Everything did by then.
Yeah those wheels are Rays, right? Sick stock wheel.
Pay it forward works great for uniforum pricing applications, like a toll booth on the turnpike or bridge/tunnel, etc. Random orders at starbucks? hell no, I’m not paying for whatever super grande garbage diabetes drink you ordered.
