Ummm, wat. Put in a bunch of expensive chargers to sit and rot, with no cars to charge from them. Sure, that’ll work.

Oh snap, you’re right. That field is actually an airstrip.

I mean, it’s not like he rocketed down at mach 1.  Probably just slowly feathered down at 15-25 mph.  Obviously he just got out and walked away.  A tree might have just gentled caught the plane lol

Lol yeah this plane crash looks like it might have happened at about 15 mph. Probably sailed down slowly like a feather in some breeze.

Fair point. But it’s not like it’s just one or two manufacturers having issues, it’s darn near all of them, to some degree. Because, this is effectively the only solution to obtaining the regulatory emissions levels in these types of equipment. But then it make them all use more fuel.

I hear ya. I’m just not convinced that, big picture here, tier 4 emissions requirements for homeowner hobby tractors is actually reducing any global emissions whatsoever. You see, on low volume product lines like these, it is causing a TON of reliability issues. These tractors get used in a huge variety of use cases,

No I don’t think that’s right. 25-75 HP tier 4 has more lenient PM and NOx emissions criteria than 75+, can be met (apparently) without DEF. Above 25HP still has DPF on the exhaust though.

Agreed.  A low cD is worth nothing if the car is pointlessly large - you’re still moving a ton of air around this giant beast.

Agreed.  Really painful to read, at times.  Some paragraphs flow nicely.  And then the next one has 7 sentences that all have 5 or 6 commas in them, hiding the intent of the sentence until the final word.  As if Jamie thinks he needs to write in this complicated a manner to sound smart, or something.  Brutal.

Uh, what?  Urea is injected into the exhaust pipe, to convert NOx.  Nothing to do with fuel sulfur content or lubricity.

Everything over 75 HP now needs DEF... sucks.

Oh.  So the human caused the crash.  Great piece, Ryan.

Thank you Adam.  5G is bullshit, and I fucking hate it.  Not tinfoil hat style, it’s just completely unnecessary and not worth all the drawbacks.

Yo, chasing for a random basic traffic stops is stupid and dumb. But if someone steals cars at gun point, they definitely need to be caught.

You had your beaters insured even when not registered?!?  why....?

I’ve found that with a decent floor jack, you can easily lift one entire side of the car.  IE if you jack near the front tire, you can lift high enough to also get the rear tire off the ground too.

He’s such an incredibly poor fit for this job.  The “tire” was resting on 3 of its 4 studs?  Thats a wheel, dude.  Jesus FC

Jesus Erik,

What 3-row vehicle did you get that is hybrid?  A toyota?

No way.  The CX-9 looks inifitely better, handles way sportier, faster, 28mpg hwy (our FWD one anyway), was cheaper, and we only need the 3rd row once in a while for extra kids.  Perfect compromise.
