You know what, I never, until just now reading your comment, thought about the fact that my attacker in college was an exchange student (student immigrant). Of all the things that have haunted me about that, his ethnicity wasn’t even a thought... What is wrong with people who’s first instinct is to think “What colour

God I hate this narrative Trump and co are peddling. I’ve been sexually assaulted twice and both times it was by people that I knew. Everyone involved was white (obviously it doesn’t matter if you are an immigrant or not when it comes to someone trying to rape you. Rapists come in all colors). Toxic masculinity is

That was the best joke in an excellent skit.

When Grassley said, “Well I’m hard as hell,” I died. And then when Kennedy called the female prosecutor Miss Frizzle, I died again.

I really need a Sean Spicer/Kavanaugh sketch.  Make it happen, people!

Of course the sad part is, it’s hardly a parody (but I did laugh).

When he said “I’m a keg is half full type of guy” I almost fell off my chair. Brilliant. (Even though Matt Damon has shown himself to be pretty ignorant of his own white male privilege in the past)

I left the profession for this reason and this reason alone. LMT school was hardcore work and an amazing experience - and they tried to arm us with knowledge and protocols and resources as best they could when it came to possible harassment and assault scenarios. But so many men, especially older men consider massage

Completely inappropriate for anyone but horrid for a sitting judge.  Imagine how he treats people in his court room.  Oh wait, we don’t have to imagine.  Ask Jane Doe and her lawyers.  And on that note, ask HER about being asked to wait... carrying a fetus that she did not want.  Piece of shit.

I believe he had been coached or coached himself to respond to the allegations of excess drinking by confronting the questioner, whomever it would be. He tried that line first with Whitehouse, who ignored it... so he loaded another bullet in the chamber and waited for the next chance to fire. That it happened to be a

If the apology had come immediately after the disrespectful challenge of the Senator’s question, I might have cut Brett some slack and given him minor credit for a display of self-awareness.

Appellate judges? Even Judge Milan (People’s Court, my favorite)  and Judge Judy don’t let litigants get away with that. He knows better but his sense of entitlement didn’t care. He’s still trying to make the cool guys laugh.

They played it on GMA this morning. I found him so insufferable. I was looking at his wife behind him to, and I feel like she has a story to tell.  I hope she does.

He’s a liar and a fucking entitled drunk liar on top of that. We should start demanding his impeachment from the minute he gets confirmed and we should never stop yelling “Liar” every single chance we get.

This made very angry because as a general rule appellate judges get pissy real fast if you answer their question with question and I am sure Judge Kavanaugh is no different. You think he would offer Senators the same respect  he would demanded from litigators.

I cringed so hard watching that exchange yesterday. And while he SHOULD apologize, his apology came after a 15 minute break where someone probably coached him, and made him out to be an upstanding guy. It glosses over the original exchange where he was totally out of line and frankly, extremely immature. He was trying

This is discussed over on the Splinter thread, but just for anyone who didn’t see it:

There’s. NEVER. just. one.

This guy is a major drama king. No, this wasn’t about being “convicted on Twitter” or lack of “due process” whatever that means. (Ian’s whine reminds me of that fake courtroom dating MTV show that Jenny McCarthy hosted about being a bad date or something.)

I said this on Twitter but will repeat it here:
