My dad was born after WWII. He has some progression views about women. I wonder if it is because he came from a matriarchal tribe.

My dad doesn’t watch Doctor Who but knows what it is about. I was explaining regeneration to him and said a new actor was taking the role. A lot of people were upset. He asked why and I said guess. It’s a woman was what he said. I told he he was right. He just shook his head and called them assholes.

I’m getting anxious for it to start.

Two of my cousins have had daughters with cancer. Both girls were under 5 years old when it happened. Both survived but with some concern about future health complications. I always thought that was strange.

For my school, it was pregnancies. It was an allgirl school. I know a number of girls in my class were smug because no one was pregnant in our class.

My cousins were telling me so many kids were at her wake. I know some of my students knew her or were related to her.

A girl on my reservation just committed suicide. She just graduated from middle school and was about to start high school. I know a few people in their 20s who died either through suicide or accidents this last year.

When I was in college, I found out two of my former classmates died before they even turned 16. The boy died from drinking while the girl had a medical complication. I just found out a girl from high school died from cancer last year. I don’t remember her and I kind of feel bad about that.

The way he used failed makes it hard for me to tell if he’s talking about ACA or ACBA.
