I think his point was more to the tune of there are electric/plug in options that can get you what you’re looking for(covering 1000 miles in a day).

The average commuter does less than 60 miles, so unless it takes more than overnight, it’s kind of irrelevant how long a plug in hybrid takes to charge.

As long as its installed correctly according to code, and no permit was needed, it doesn’t matter who installed it. And no inspector would ask that question... unless it was installed poorly.

It’s not beating a dead horse, it’s investigative journalism. When more details of something arise, or you learn of another incident involving a potentially horribly defective product, you write and you inform so that more of the public becomes aware.
