You can definitely do a little better performance-wise at the price point for the Regal GS, but it’s a combination of performance and luxury, and for that the price is pretty aggressive. Those front seats look pretty awesome.

Most EVs can charge overnight at home or while parked (if workplace charging is available). I am always surprised by the cost of insurance for a new car versus my old cars. Plus, outright replacement value of a $35K car is going to be more than for a $24K car, so there’s that... After the first year or two the insurance cost drops off quickly.

I think more people would be comfortable with an EV if it had an on-board range extender, whether its a gasoline powered engine or some other fuel.

If you sent an email I didn’t get it. Yahoo has been pretty aggressive with my spam filters lately so reply if you sent an email so I know to look out for it.

I thought they said they get 1 new pack every season. Are they not taking the new packs? That’s awesome.

I’m curious what they do with the old battery packs at the end of a season. Do they tear them apart to see what parts “wear”? (chemically? physically? Are there warped plates or deteriorating metals etc?)
