Fortunately our state hasn’t done this yet. I really don’t like this approach unless they change the entire usage tax system to something based on a combination of odometer and GVWR and charge everybody the same rate/sliding scale/something...

Although decades away from being widespread, there is definitely a major shift underway. The government will find a new way to collect their money for sure, I’m not at all worried about that. A major overhaul to tax laws will be coming though. I think everybody is ready for that.

1st gear: As an EV driver, I have no problem putting a separate meter in place for my charging and tax based on that, or else something based on odometer at annual inspections etc. It’s nice to drive past the pump, but I (and most other EV drivers) fully understand the need to fund the roads and the lost tax revenue a

I like your plan. I’ll order a Charger right now!

Their slogan was based on the premise that having a car which could handle well would let you avoid dangerous situations. The slogan worked better in the 50's.

From the 50's to 70's or so safety meant one of two possibilities:

here’s no actual reason to remove 87, other then squeezing more money out of consumers.

3600 wasn’t around until ‘05 or so. 3800 was their last standard pushrod V6, in production until ‘08. End of an era.

The Reatta was like getting a Cadillac Allante except with a great engine! 3800 forever!

they were setting trends! Lots of cars today have hard to change turn signals.

The hard part comes later on when you need a larger and larger garage. When my wife and I were house shopping our real estate agent thought I was a little nuts... “Show me the houses with at least a two car garage, in our price range, then we’ll see what the house looks like...” we did alright finding a fixer-upper

I have two forever cars. My second car which was bought by my grandparents - a 73 buick lesabre. Big tank, not a show winner of any kind, but I love the way it rides and it has been customized enough over the years to be called my own.

Everyone wants to complain about taxes, gov’t corruption and waste to the point that local governments are choked off from making any improvements and have to beg and plead with voters to get basic funding levels approved. It’s politically unpopular to raise taxes, so anyone running on the platform of ‘we need to

Well, at least half of my cars wouldn’t be affected by this! I know which ones I’ll choose for apocalypse day...

What amuses me the most about this ad is that the bot stole bits and pieces from other ads, and now other bots will steal bits and pieces from this ad to generate something even less meaningful... Soon it the bots will just be posting ads for jumbled up words from other car ads and read like:

The only time I don’t like their bikes are when they have no freakin mufflers. Completely uncalled for.

Woah, a 5-wheeled car for $38k?

Neutral: What would it take to get me to ride a Harley-Davidson? Get all the cars off the road. (applies to other 2 wheeled transport as well) Source: me - enjoyed riding dirtbikes, have driven a few Harleys, have had a bunch of friends lay down their bikes or fly over the roofs of cars... I would ride if it weren’t

that’s a nice find. About a decade ago my Dad came across a 1974 Rinspeed 911.
