“You mean you have to pay money for new cars? I’ll buy a gently used one in a few years.” - a Jalopnik poster before lamenting when Ford stops making them in 2027 due to low sales

Of course the usual.

Oh, PLEASE, call ME when the engine block is forged out of a single block of solid diamond and runs off of gasoline produced by the forced degradation and heated compression of zebra bones from animals I pick myself.

Ford’s cars were all old as the hills at this point. Fusion, when it was new in 2013, was selling well over 300k per year. In 2017, in its 5th year basically unchanged, they still sold 210,000 of them.

Here you go.

It needs a name with an “E”, though.

The market will tank again, probably soon, and gas prices will rise, and sedans and small cars will be fashionable again, and Ford will be a bit fucked.”

Call it a Falcon, Ford. Don’t be wimps for once.

This I like! Would be a great competitor to the Charger.

It really doesn’t make sense anymore. My mom’s Escape with the 2.0T gets 27 mpg average compared to my s/o’s focus that averages 30. There simply isn’t a big enough difference to make people give a shit.

The brand new hybrid Explorer and Aviator are obvious responses to the idea Ford isn’t planning for higher gas prices. But Jalopnik will keep banging this drum.

Ford just needs to release the all new Ford Blockchain, a 4-row SUV with a triple-turbocharged V-10 and 53 cupholders. Wall Street will do backflips.

1'st Gear:

“Jurbey” sounds like Australian for “penis”.

As someone who actually owns a 2500HD I can tell you you’re completely wrong. Mine is older (2008) but the stock ride height is nearly the same.   Having a vehicle that stiff (solid frame) that low makes it completely useless for hauling anything with weight, unless you want the suspension ultra stiff which means it

Gotta say, that is actually pretty cool.

The dually looks like a fat guy with skinny ankles. Give that truck some bigger wheels.

So much better looking than the fugly Silverado HD especially this in Denali trim That see through rear view trailer camera is useful and cool.

Ahh ha! I knew it. It was a cynical ploy to upsell a GMC.
