Wow!! What an episode. I am watching it currently and I had to stop and comment.
Best episode of S3. What an emotional episode!!! I was fully captivated throughout the hour. Helen and Noah at their lowest points, seemingly broken beyond repair and as vulnerable as a kittens.
Fantastic episode! Had me laughing out loud multiple times.
Mild spoiler - There's an episode coming up that features a road trip for Paul and Vernon . Maybe that's the one with only non core characters.
What an episode!! Loved it.
"You're playing a very dangerous game of chicken with the head fucking hen…. to the end of her threat against the Congresswoman - fabulous dialog and even more fabulous delivery by JLD. She is on fire this season. Another Emmy for sure.
FUCKIN 'A' episode. No wait, FUCKIN 'AA' episode.
Hilarious episode from start to finish.
Great episode. Jimmy+Sara is gold and has been from the start. We need more of that. Also, Stamos and Brewster have great chemistry.
Who else here thinks that Kalf is not to be trusted at all? I personally think that by finishing off Einar and his supporters, Kalf believes that he got two birds with one stone - first, he eliminated his opposition and the second thing is that now that he has helped out Lagertha in a major way, he may feel that she…
I do like how, for pretty much the first time, they showed a bit of
Paul and Lindsay's chemistry and maybe explained how they actually
became a couple in the first place
What a great ending to S2. It had me both smiling and crying as Jimmy and Gretchen moved to a much more comfortable/assured phase in their relationship.
"You stayed? You stayed!" - That was it for me. And after that it wasn't a surprise to find out tears already streaming down my face. The show put us all through such an emotional twirl and then just when it seemed that all was destined for a black hole, came that well deserved and utterly sweet moment.
I was cackling madly at that scene.
"Don't take your shirt off unless……………………..it's justified". Writers, we see what you did there.
Double edged sword. Having 4 POVs could have turned out to be bad. Too many story threads and not enough time spent on individual characters.
I was surprised too when I watched the promo. Seems like a 4 person POV episode to me. The synopsis of the episode also makes it seem like the POV of all four will be seen.
Another great episode for Maura Tierney. Helen was awesome in this episode and I even tolerated Noah for some time by virtue of her being present with him in most scenes.
This episode was great and it had some hilarious scenes but it still left me devastated due to the heavy stuff of Gretchen and Jimmy. :(
