No thumbnail available from the footage hides his demon shark eyes, I’m afraid
“I don’t think they fully appreciate that it’s a free-to-play business, that the Japanese and Chinese companies dominate the industry.”
Jesus Christmas. That fucking thumbnail for the interview at the end of the article is like a demon staring directly into your soul. Could we get a NSFL warning on that thing?
I’d say the mockery finally sank in but none of those guys understand they’re being mocked.
I’ve noticed lately that with these sorts of posts, cryptobros no longer fall over themselves to post a thesis in the comments describing how wrong we all are about cryptocurrency.
He spent a good decade of his career as a main character on one show. A very good show that still has a pretty good following today. No doubt it was a comfortable gig but stuff like that typically either propels careers or stunts them.
...is what some weirdo would say if they didn’t know every voice actor for Kratos has always been black.
Pacino just seemed so happy to be there, and he was loving that speech LOL
powerful blue/ash-gray guy*
:P
but yeah, when he wasn’t entirely one note, he was extremely unlikable. I remember the demo when he goes out of his way to kill the ship captain after fighting that hydra. I was just “why?”
Devil May Cry is more my speed as an action game power fantasy: ridiculous and not self-serious.…
Despite being a bit of a long speech, he had a great enthusiasm and sincerity to it, I love when he went and grabbed Pacino for a hug, I know I would have loved to do the same.
COUNTERPOINT: If I ever find myself in that position, they’ll have to drag my ass off stage.
Yes. People should be allowed to share their moment. It’s a great opportunity to be proud of the accomplishments of other people.
He’s always been great in interviews, and the ones where it was him and some combination of Anderson, Shanks, and Tapping made it seem like he’s a lot of fun to be around and genuinely beloved by the folks who work with him.
Too bad we’ll never hear a speech from a salty internet-nobody like you, I bet you’d show everyone how it’s done properly, champ!
Indeed
Best episode.
I feel like Christopher Judge should have been this well known twenty years ago, and ought to be a full superstar today.
It’s been a joy watching such a flat, one-dimensional character such as Kratos be given life by the new narrative team and Judge’s excellent performances.
What little footage I’ve seen indicates that it’s basically Fallout 4 in space. Though the base building aspect seems way less clunky than Fallout 4's implementation.
