Please. She was more than happy to mug for cameras and put everything out there back in the day. A 20 year old Angie in 2023 would have grown up on insta and tiktok and been all over socials with her mans vile of blood around her neck. She just has perspective and kids now. 

Agreed that it’s in a way self-inflicted, but I don’t know if they’re necessarily valuing the opening-night $20 more. Maybe it’s more that Hollywood is paying attention to the costs of screening a movie instead of just the revenues. A theater collecting $2M in receipts over 3 days would be accompanied by 3 days’ cost…

Well, the guy who invented it also kills himself at the end to destroy the knowledge of how to build it, which only he knows. So the movie is pretty openly aware of the irony of the solution.

That scene of them running together is... pretty silly. GvK gave Godzilla some mobility by making him kind of slithery and playing into the reptilian qualities when fighting Kong, but he’s still no runner.

The snark I keep seeing about American vs Japanese Godzilla is so dumb. There are a ton of goofy mindless Japanese Godzilla movies, if you’re using Minus One to knock the new American ones, you might as well just use it to shit on 1/3 of the Japanese catalogue.

Honestly that was my biggest gripe with this film is he just looks goofy—his arms are weirdly short and just...don’t move so he was very stiff every time ohe was on screen.  And his head is too small. Am I taking crazy pills or is this list awful? The American Godzilla films are ranked way too high (But Godzilla Vs. Kong is too low) then some of the Showa era are ranked criminally low.

I'd say that Minus One Godzilla looks more like Heisei Godzilla than any other one. But I can see the comparison to Monsterverse Godzilla

They might as well cut the budget and aim for direct to streaming, like a throw back to those late 90s/early 00s Miramax DTV sequels.
