Also, weird to say The Masked Singer is “apparently still on” when this very website has multiple articles a week about The Masked Singer when it’s in season.

I thought she was good in In The Heights too! Plus her abs in that are insane(ly unfair).
I’m also pretty sure that this very site regularly runs articles about who the most recently unmasked singer was, so acting as if they’re surprised it’s still on is fucking wild.
I get the sass, but I’m pretty sure Masked Singer is one of Fox’s highest rated shows so it seems like they are likely trying to use that to feed into Family Guy and hoping that will all help Animal Control.
Oh man, this is just like that one time they switched Family Guy’s time slot.
Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman made far more incendiary comments than those. Even if you don’t agree with Barrera, this feels very post-9/11 not supporting the troops enough. Those vibes didn’t age well.
Anyone who does the non-reboot-with-the-same-title thing deserves to have confused incorrect references in articles about their movie.
Agreed. The Los Angeles Times headline for the story was “Melissa Barrera dropped from ‘Scream VII’ after pro-Palestinian posts,” which is more accurate. Even more accurate would just be that she was fired for telling the truth.
Barrera joined Scream with the surprise-hit 2022 reboot
It felt like it tried to milk comedy out of every single situation rather than let scenes play out the way they should, it crams a lot of storylines in to a single movie, so nothing really gets to be utilized to its fullest, doesn’t use a very interesting villain well at all, wastes basically 10 years worth of one of…
Exactly. Said it before and will continue saying it. Forcing the MCU to seriously expand its scope beyond the silver screen was and is a disastrous decision.
for me, personally, the disney+ stuff just ruined the whole operation.
You forgot to mention the Avengers movies as a whole, especially if Majors winds up getting convicted. That means recasting Kang and explaining why he looks different now which means re-writes to scripts and plots and all that.
I mean, just look at the upcoming offerings. It’s one lackluster offering after another:
That’s great. My highlight is not a sentence in English. It’s maybe 50% of a thought.
Hopefully the lesson Disney/Marvel take from this is “make better movies and tv shows” and not “don’t have women lead our movies.” The three stars and their chemistry was by far the best thing about it.
I think the first one overperformed a bit as it was the film right before Endgame so there was a lot of hype surrounding the mcu in general right at that moment and people were hoping CM would give some hints or at least help setup Endgame, i dunno. Her short subsequent appearances (mostly as a deux ex machina) were…
The Marvels will be on Disney+ within a month to two months. That kills a ton of box office potential. If you had to wait at least 6 months before seeing it, more people would be inclined to go buy a ticket.
Jesus Christ that is brutal.
I wonder if they regret not calling it Captain Marvel 2. (Though I doubt a different title would’ve made that big of a difference.)
