As much as this show always delights me (always), I actually had a couple of moments where I cringed a little & thought “TMI!”....but oh, how I love lines like “What kind of goat sorcery is this?!”, spoken directly to a goat of course.
Me, too! But he jumped out of Guillermo’s arms & they left us hanging. I didn’t want him left out in the cold & snow. I mean, this was a kitty who could do charcuterie with his own little paws!💙
Elvis & a Freddie Mercury reference in one episode. I'm happy.💙
I get it. I'm more of a Miracle Whip girl myself...& ANY kind of mustard. :)
I think this show already had enough (too many?) characters without adding a whole slew of new ones. Sorta like slathering way too much mayo on a sandwich & ruining it. And I was already finding this particular sandwich a bit unappetizing.
Oh, yes! I read all of your “Feud” reviews and always enjoyed them. I was an active member of the commentariat at the time. Read your review after each episode, always put my two cents in and thoroughly enjoyed the robust discussions we all had.
Well, y’know what they say about great minds running on the same track...
I’m with you, Gwen. The tears started at the same time, same scene. And only flowed more freely right on through the ending. It was almost painful watching Michelle’s depiction of Gwen watching Bob die.
I watched that, and remember being surprised by some of the music (basically rock in its style), anachronistic but fun. I enjoyed the series quite a bit.
A bat codpiece, a peekaboo cape...this caused a brief flashback to Alice Cooper’s infamous “Welcome to My Nightmare” tour. Yes, it was eons ago but hey, I was a mere child.
Just switch to “People Are Strange”...suits this show better anyway(?).
“Mr. Hijinks” cologne. ...”smells like a snake in heat.”
I bumped into Evil Lincoln a few months ago and had a similar conversation. I guess all of us from those days miss it. I used to think the powers that be at Kinja would take note of all the criticism (& drastic decline in commenters) and make changes in the platform. I don’t know why on earth they haven’t, but it’s an…
I thought I’d already blown my own tiny mind imagining Spike & Angel in attendance. You just blew it completely out of the water (& kicked my imagination into overdrive)!!
It’s probably for the best that he didn’t. If he had, I’d probably pull a Colin Robinson on everyone around me for at least the next month talking about nothing else non-stop!
I’ve never before so desperately wanted a show to run long...really long, like maybe two hours.
Thanks, Dennis, for your thoughtful critiques. I miss the old days when there was a thriving, lively commentariat for this show and others. But I still come here to read your reviews.
I’m sure I will, or they’ll find me. This is the first time I’ve been without pets since I was a kid. I’m not quite ready yet, but it’s only a matter of time, and probably not too long at that. There are too many out there in need of a good home for me to wait too long.
Excellent ideas all.
