NCIS: NEW ORLEANS — great, the only one of these shows I actually like, is ending.

Yeah season one was clearly the best one, so that is a little weird to say.  CBS just had a much better handle on what this show was and had real guidance and cast people to suit that than the CW does.  Benoist is much better with light comedy than the more serious stuff they have done since

Yeah I quite enjoyed Princess Nyxly. Right up until the end I couldn’t quite get a read on her, and the moment they found Kara’s dad I kept expecting him to go “No, you’ve been working with her?!” Maybe it’s the 5th dimension oddness.

  • I really hope that the princess was lying, and that she’s really a twisted being that her father imprisoned for a just cause.

They can also mostly lose Luther Corp as a setting now. They will occasionally drop in on Lex, but Lena’s scene can be at the Tower. They really have tightened things up nicely.

It’s a bit weird that there was exactly one more space on their speed-dial wall.  I already forgot who half those icons belong to.

Seeing that deprogramming scene with Bucky was so satisfying. The want of that moment has launched tens of thousands of fanfics since 2014.

Went back to watch that scene again, it still made me tear up flawlessly.
It was beautiful. I still can’t even go into a thorough enough explanation of why it was so gripping for everyone to watch.
In less than five minutes, they told an entire story of personal triumph over pain, a pain we all felt, some

the opening scene was heartbreaking; beautiful acting, and another angle of insight into the damage done by what Bucky went through, from brainwashing to recovery.

My goodness, that opening scene with Ayo and Bucky had me from the start. She’s so good! And him initially fighting back tears in fear of becoming the killing machine again only to realize he’s free and cry out of joy hit so well!

That final shot of Walker with the bloody shield was *money.*

Yeah, they should have just dumped her character or have her go away for a few eps before having a change of personality, a la Wells.

Wish Lois would come and smack her. (I’d personally pay for a S&L ep where that does happen!)

Lawyers must be cringing about how bad the courtroom drama and other legal things played out. It’s like someone went to the first day of an undergrad pre-law intro to law class and thought that’s all they needed to know to create a courtroom situation. The DA made an objection during Eve’s testimony and we didn’t even

I admire the consistency, though -- whether on the side of good or evil, Andrea’s real crimes are her attempts at journalism.

The way Cryer plays it at the end, with Lex seemingly stumbling into realizing how fascism can work for him, is just perfectly chilling.

This was a good Lena episode but I miss her with the team, especially Alex

I would say this Lex is an uplifted version of Alan from Two and a Half Men.

Jon Cryer is a treasure as Lex. Just incredible.

Freaking Andrea walking libel suit. Really wish they ditched the character.
