Nope, I think their importance has more to do with their effect on the listener (Usually Emmet).

I honestly just zoned out during his final monologue at the end there.

So yeah, this may be my favorite episode of Fargo. Everything from the bus crash leading up to the Bowling Alley scene was excellent. I'm guessing Ray Wise was supposed to be playing Death, which hey, was in fact my favorite moment in this entire thing. Just excellent.

That and I'm guessing he never once thought that he was in danger from Wednesday.

And he still managed to out play the guy in the end.

That and times have changed since the book came out so some stuff needed updating and they're expanding on ideas that were present in the book.

Well there's apparently several Jesus's running around so there's always a chance.

It's kind of weird when you think about it that they didn't have a Gun God in the book when guns are very much an object of reverence in modern times.

It happened in the last episode when the tree monster got Shadow in the side. The slimy thing was a blood soaked root.

You know it's funny as I was watching Vulcan's introduction I thought to myself: "You know, I know he's an Old God but why would a god who figured out how to stay relevant in modern times side against the New Gods?" And then hey, the reveal happened. It's funny when you consider that most of the Old Gods could still

Ram's mom is still alive and Tanya's brothers are probably near legal age so I guess they'd be her guardians but yeah they did create a fairly big problem there.
