This is a shmaltzy ad for a television station in Denmark, but I can’t stop thinking about how it doesn’t try to “un-box” people so much as show how there are always different boxes for people to occupy and find common ground:

Yeah, I had a similar education about the AS-1 line only mine was an aftermarket tint strip(I did buy the truck with it though). The thing was that it in no way affected my vision as the edge of the tint was about 3" above my line of sight. Honestly,if it had it would have been gone. I have zero tolerance for things

Is there ANY way to race RR3 without automatic throttle? I hate that.

Is the bottom part Jalopniks new motto?

It’s what we do mate, we invent things, then we do shit at them.

Just don’t get carried away.

The Capri was a 3-door only, and the body panel stampings except maybe the doors were substantially different from even the Mustang 3-door. IIrc, ASC (who already built a McLaren Capri 3-door) did use a modified Mustang 2-door deck lid, but to get the correct rear fenders there was a lot of cutting and additional

I loved Driver 2. Anyone who has played for an extensive amount of time miiight remember the interesting glitches you could exploit.

Not quite a knock-off - if anything Rockstar adopted ideas from Driver for GTA. In fact, the original Driver came out a few years before the 3-D Grand Theft Auto games, and Driver 2 introduced the ability to step out of your car two years before GTA 3 came out.

These were shipped to C & C minus the roof. I remember them coming down the line with no roof, Sedan version. The Capri was a hatchback that was stripped down at ASC , A-posts racked back 2 inches and fully rebuilt after cutting the roof and 1/4 panels.

I soldered the 1/4 panels on the 5.0SC at ASC in Livonia from the begining of production in 84 until I left ASC in 86. These Capri were shipped to ASC fully built (including hatchback and roof) and dismantled and modified at ASC. At the Dearborn Assembly Plant, the Mustang and Capri were built on the same assembly

At first I was on Joey’s side until he mentions his old Toyota ever had that problem. Sorry buddy it’s your own fault for thinking a Hyundai would hold up like a Toyota.

I would also add that most of the Rangers build from ‘96 and up are still on the road. Why buy new when your vehicle is so well built you’ll get 10 years out of it.

Just A shot - I live an hour away. But I appreciate the notion that I would put thoughtful research in to NPOCP comments.

I almost feel the need to apologise for my CP vote. $6k and we have a deal. Just realize this isn’t the most satisfying stick to stir if you are interested. But damn this is a fine example right here, I’d offer the $6k if it were closer and have a fine weekend cruiser for the next decade.

NP at 5,000$ acceptable at 6,000$, cool at 7,000$, CP at 8,000$

If you are a Mopar guy, you’ll over-value the vehicle and pretty much just scream either “Hemi” or “Cummings” no matter what the topic about the vehicle is.

I have a 69 Charger (and a 66 LeMans, amusingly). I can tell you that you are spot on. The sheer number of 2nd gen chargers destroyed in film made it very difficult to find mine at a reasonable price 5 years ago and has actually doubled my car’s value in that time.

If Steve Buscemi were a Mustang...
