@RegalRegalia Mantide for nice price or crack pipe!: Nah, I have comments, or even, if all goes well, entire days, where I am on my game. Ash is ALWAYS on his game. Follow his comments and any single one of them could be the COTD. I'm just glad they've hired Graverobber on to write for them so he doesn't have as much

Sigh. You know, the rest of us really can't compete.

@Ash78: Not really, but then the same could be said of many models out there. VW just does platform prostitution a little better than most. It doesn't seem as bad if you just think of it as a sort of "special edition" model, because that's fundamentally what it is. In the same way that other manufacturers will come

Sigh. Probably just as well they haven't brought it over here, or I'd have serious difficulty in justifying why I wouldn't trade in the Corrado for one of these.

@Ash78: Actually I'm expecting little to no impact at all, aside from dealership owners. Most towns of 12,000 people or more that I've seen have a Ford dealership, a Chrysler dealership, a Chevy/Cadillac dealership and a Pontiac/Buick/GMC dealership. Usually the two GM dealerships are within a block of each other.

@aSoundofSleep: He's done work at 5:00, if I recall, so he leaves the building at around the same time as COTD is posted.

@dusteruk: As I recall, replacing the "V" with a "7" is actually done for a specific reason as it determines which of a few variations of the original Lotus Seven we're talking about. I believe the Caterhams are correctly referred to as Se7ens, while the Lotus models are the Sevens.

@I have a cat that can beat me up: Are... you... mistaking the Se7en for some hack performer nobody's heard of? That... that... I... that's blasphemy! I'd slap you for that if it didn't hurt my heart so much.

It's sad that I've now completely mentally replaced "LeMans" with "LeMons". I was kinda stoked to see someone drove a TVR to a LeMons race.

I've seen these re-skinned Vettes, and while they're much, much, MUCH more attractive than the newer Vettes they're based on, I still don't really quite see all the appeal. Now, if someone were to start offering kits that would, say, re-skin a new Mustang with the body of an old Mustang, say mid-60's style, maybe with

Tesla is also about 10% as annoying as Twitter. So if market value is priced based on annoyance, Twitter should be worth more than Google.

@POLAЯ: We should meet up in Winnipeg for drinks or something. God. Winnipeg wouldn't know what hit 'em.

@POLAЯ: I guess I kinda need to come back and visit more often too, don't I?

@Skunky: Reminds me of my future project:

@POLAЯ: I miss you, POLAЯ. You need to come back and visit more often.

@Wes Siler: P.I.T. manoeuvre into a concrete wall? Sounds about right to me.

@Ash78: One of my favourite quotes from the last few days:
