Again... sorry, but the LaCrosse / Allure that's coming down the pipeline just isn't that attractive. It's nice, sure, but it's nowhere near nice enough to turn heads, nevermind attract attention away from a potential Lincoln / Acura / Infiniti buyer, which are pretty much all that remains of the entry-level luxury

@DЯ. BЯдΖǐL-ЯЄРΘЯΤЄЯ: Honestly, I have completely given up on F1. If you say it's a lot better, maybe I'll give it another chance, but it's just gotten progressively less interesting over the last, oh, 7 or 8 years. I was never a huge fan to begin with, but last year I gave up watching it entirely.

@Jon: I didn't realize you could watch them live... I'm just downloading the torrents an hour or two later. I have to give Australia's "7 Sports" credit, the camera-work and editing on those programs is just gorgeous. They really know how to shoot cars and make them look sexy and exciting.

@aSoundofSleep: Yeah, sorry, guess I should have pointed out that it's capitalized there. I'm not talking in a generic sense, I'm talking about V8 Supercars.

Frankly, I love it, and I'm glad they're making it.

@Ash78: And that is why you are the master.

This makes my brain hurt. Jesus, there are only, what four passes per race in Formula One, and somehow two of them caused this great big mess?

@SCROGGZILLA!!!: In my experience, the only thing you can be sure of with children is that they will be chock-full of filth and treachery.

You... you like this?

Hell, I can't even afford to subscribe to Jalopnik Zinc, nevermind Gold or Platinum.

I saw the front shot first, and thought, "It can't be a 911, there isn't enough rear overhang to fit an engine in there."

@ursa: No, we couldn't host it over there. According to the news, all the money is in Western Canada, so if we're going to ask people to pony up $500 for a car, it'd have to be over here.

@philipmein: Damn rights! Other possible exceptions include Enzo Ferrari and one of the Henry Fords.

@pauljones: Historically speaking, at least in Canada, Unions tend to receive a lot more concessions and benefits from small-C conservative governments, Left-leaning governments can rely on the support of unions with reasonable certainty. Right-leaning governments will often try and make more concessions to try and

@Ray Wert: By "membership", I'm sure you actually mean "testicles of The General", right?

Honestly, the lengths the rest of the auto industry will go to to prevent us from enjoying the dream-like state that exists in Murilopnik. They don't like the love and nostalgia that arises for old cars when Murilee takes the reins, because they fear we won't want anything new again.
