This is a snarky article considering the second season pretty much abandoned the juvenile humour and became Star Trek fan fic (which it does very well).

It’s probably also a little bit of him wanting to fuck off Fox, as he’d been vocal about moving his properties once the contracts were up so he no longer was associated with or enriched the shitbag Murdoch and company. Now that the production company is separate and the distribution deal was up, it was easy.

I read it that The Orville couldn’t be ready in time to fit into Fox’s schedule until later in 2020. 

I think the writer was saying that Fox couldn’t fit into its schedule until 2020. So Hulu is picking it up instead, presumably sooner than Fox could have? 

Well, they say no one watches TV anymore anyways.

I’m assuming the decision has more to do with Disney now owning both The Orville and Hulu, and Fox TV not wanting to have to pay extra to air it, which makes it a less lucrative program for them.

My wife said it should have a Mary Tyler Moore ending and everyone except Shannen Doherty should be fired.
