I’m excited about the real Chic just because the whole FBI Agent thing is a nice nod to the comics. There’s plenty of story to explore with him. F.P. now has another son to help him solve crimes.

I think they could’ve done more to set it apart from the previous films. It still had the trappings of an action movie. There’s action and adventure in Hellboy comics but I wouldn’t consider them to be squarely in that genre. The film is very pulpy, which is true to the source material. I think if it took more cues…
