I see. It is sad that we come to this, but yes, as the guy said, Battle Front lootboxes gambling mechanic is fundamentally similar to children’s toys. Albeit much more harmful and costly. And i remember reading this one article that said that, technically, we dont “own” our virtual game. So people are gambling for

I mean - I would say the part we couldn’t know is the reason they did it but it is safe to say they purposefully removed the button if was removed and has remained that way.

In fairness - the only loot boxes I’ve seen available are the ones earned from doing dailies/weeklies and earned randomly through gameplay. There is no option to buy anything besides the season pass at this point.

I believe they have to eat under the tables, like the dogs they are.

I love you for catching this. Laughed my ass off when it first happened, then my next thought was “I bet this will be on Deadspin by the third quarter”.

Development nightmares on ME:A killed mass effect, not the fan base. Although some of the fan base is indefensible.

Can you just imagine the absurd cavalcade of strokes the Cheeseheads would have if they signed Kap? The angioplasty rate in Wisconsin would skyrocket. The defibrillators would be ringing like the goddamn Anvil Chorus.

IT’S A JUMPING OFF POINT!

My favourite player was Kellen Winslow. I fell in love with the crazy exciting offence that racked up points like a pinball machine, and the gorgeous girls in bikini tops in the stands while it was already cold and snowy and dark in November and December where I lived. And the uniforms were the best. I mean, that

Did you miss the part where they lost by three? Sounds like a mariginally better QB would’ve won that game for them.

*checks box score* Yeah, a marginally better QB COULD have made all the difference in this game. Or should this just be accepted as the new normal?

Were the 2007 Patriots not the best team in the NFL that year because they lost the Super Bowl to the Giants? The best team doesn’t always win - that’s kind of one of the best things about sports.

I mean, they had two Heisman winners at the same time leading the offense, coached by a defensive mastermind (though the school’s D that year didn’t measure up, as we all saw) and were riding a two-year championship streak to a first ever third-in-a-row.

Well, since those wins never happened I guess all the USC players from that season can go ahead and use their likenesses from all those games because no official contests took place, right? Screw the NCAA.
