All this is a symptom of governmental institutions in crisis. I suggest there are serious questions as to whether the existing institutions can handle this crisis. The institutions are flexible, but they aren’t unbreakable. The next few years could be very interesting.

Good point. I’ve heard proposals to expand the House to give reps less constituents and thereby increase representation. I think that would just make for an unwieldy legislature. Plus, where would they all sit?
