Oh, they didn’t let Alex review it. Don’t really care anymore.

I know what you mean, I think. In 4th gear in my vans, at a particular throttle opening and rev I know is exactly 30mph, I very rarely find myself going any faster unless I change into 5th too early.
I’m looking now, they all look pretty good, I might go to my local toyota garage and have a look at the used one they have, even if it is an auto.
I’m in the UK and they’re over £12,000 cheaper than they were new, starting about £14,000. That seems perfectly reasonable to me, I know it’s not perfect, but that’s a great price for a sports car with a Toyota badge on it.
They’re 5 years old?! Fuck it I’m going to buy a 5 year old one.
I rolled one. Was fun.
Snatchyflaps kinda is something over here, and it isn’t to do with cars.
Bet you can’t pronounce Betws-y-Coed though. I struggle.
He shouts “JESUS CHRIST KRIS” in his Irish accent as the car flies off the stage.
Yup, weren’t they suppose to get the new Insignia as a Commodore? Doubt they will now, or if they do, they’ll need a replacement asap.
Pretty sure the Cascada was a Saab design that they didn’t want to just throw away.
If by selling a small handful of Camaros and Corvettes means staying in Europe then yes, they don’t sell them anywhere I know of. Whereas I can go to my local Ford dealership and pick up a Mustang, in RHD!
Wow, I can’t believe how much whining about this car. It’s like you don’t even want Euro Hot Hatches.
Yeah I agree. I know for a fact that the Astra has virtually no British made parts in it for example, or at least the lowest amount of any vehicle made in the UK. The vans will just end up as the Citroën/Peugeot clones as they already are Renault clones. Doesn’t look good for the British factories.
They’re built at the Vauxhall plant though in Luton though. I do however think they’ll end up just rebadging the Citroën/Peugeot vans and build them wherever they’re built eventually though.
I doubt it. Only the five door Astras are even made here now. They’ll keep the Vauxhall name, Opel doesn’t have any meaning here and the Corsa is one of the UKs best selling cars.
Opel reliability. LOL. My dad’s old Corsa would like to counter that argument with the amount of time it spent in the shop. Unlike his Fiesta.
There’s two plants. Ellesmere Port (that builds some Astras, not all) will be closed no doubt. But I’m not sure about Luton that builds the vans, depends on whether they merge with the PSA vans and pull out of their Renault/Nissan agreement, which is likely in a few years.
I’ve always said Opel is just filled with the engineers that weren’t competent or good enough to go work for a VAG brand, Mercedes or BMW. I mean if you were German why would you go work for Opel full time if you could work for one of the other three?
Vauxhall nameplate isn’t going anywhere as it’s only sold in the UK. The manufacturing of vans in Luton or the Astra in (near) Liverpool is very much in danger with this move.
