It’d probably have the awful drive by wire steering. No thanks, I want to be connected to my sports car’s wheels.

As well as all our trucks being limited to 56mph so they don’t come past you at silly speeds like I see in America. Scary.
Finally my dog can experience an under 4 second 0-60 launch!
Yes because Ferrari are notorious at producing rubbish engines...
Completely different design team. There was a time a few years ago when they were the same car but the FIA put a stop to that. The RBR is designed and built in England, and the STR is designed and built in Italy. RBR have a bigger budget too.
Designed by British people that’s why! The speed cameras are also the same ones that are used here too!
I think that’s mainly people who buy new cars on finance and are worried about how much it’ll be worth in 3 years when they have to pay the rest off in a lump sum. Me for example buying cars for under £5k I’m looking for a yellow RenaultSport Clio but I’m a petrolhead so we’re different.
They’ve moved to places with a little less wealth, hence why my 16 year old 330i touring isn’t exactly a rare car around my part of the North East where we’re a bit poor.
Unfortunately Jason the problem is what you alluded too, you were somewhere with a little bit too much money. Places with a little more variation in wealth is probably a better place to spot some weird stuff. Pretty sure I could find some a lot more interesting stuff on my delivery route in the North East England then…
Exactly, I was thinking between the chassis rails still just not at the exit of the bed, still at the same height.
Very true, I do go off road in my van, but it’s only a 2.2 litre with it being in Europe, I imagine the exhaust temperature is quite a bit less.
It’s never really occurred to me before when driving on farm tracks to be honest. Full disclosure, this is in Europe, so like my van is only a 2.2 litre Iveco, so the exhaust temperature is probably way lower then this thing, since there’s not as much combustion. Fair.
Why didn’t they just have it exit in the centre of the truck underneath? Instead of going all the way to the back. That’s what my van does.
That’s my problem with Nissan too, I love the GT-R but it’s pretty much an exotic. I know they make the Z too, but it’s a little bit boring. It’s not like Juke Nismo is any good either.
How long has England not been in Europe for? My first car was a Ka.
I just think it’s mad how they can’t make money from Opel, Ford don’t sell too many more cars in Europe I don’t think, and you never hear this from Ford? I guess GM are just sick of trying to turn it around.
I think it’s GMs problem that they’re not making any money, they sell loads in europe, both cars are high volume sellers and they use the other platforms in other GM cars globally, I think GM just have something sort of resentment against Opel, instead of trying to make it better.
Nice! I didn’t realise they’d made so many! Explains how they managed to fund a half decent effort at the WRC without too much money from Ford, I knew they did a lot of rental rides, but I’m impressed with the number of R5s they made.
I think that’s probably the main reason why Citroen aren’t running 3 C3s too, because they wouldn’t have enough spares for 3 of them. Which is quite impressive how M-Sport had 4 running this weekend.
Because he was renting the car from the M-Sport team, all the mechanics/spares/pit area are M-Sports, just rented by Mads’s team. It probably would’ve cost him and his sponsors a bit more money for damage, so every little helps.
