The biggest shame really is that Toyota vs VW vs Hyundai vs Citroën vs Ford would’ve been a good battle. Not sure who they would’ve signed if they couldn’t of got Jari-Matti though.

Not necessarily, I know he had influenced the design, and came up with many ideas that was used for the Beetle. But he was arrested and fled Germany 5 years before the first Beetle prototype was made.
Fair enough, he’s Ferdinand Porsche’s Grandson, and his Dad (who is Ferdinand Porsche’s Son-in-Law) was a lawyer and ran the VW factory in Wolfsburg during the war.
Did you just ask if the Grandson/Son of the people who came up and built Nazi Germanys “people’s car” were Jewish?
Nicked this screengrab from the BBC website of where he has the car parked. I absolutely despise Corsas, I hate them more than any other vehicle on the road. BUT, firstly, it’s his house, he can do what he wants, and secondly, I think it looks quite cool sitting there.
Yeah but he definitely would’ve been number 1 at Toyota with a brand new car too, maybe he might not have had an offer from them, but saying that M-Sport are a safer pair of hands then an unproven Yaris.
Well Lefebvre came second on the Power Stage, so I hope that’s an inkling that the C3 has a decent turn of speed. I hope so being a Citroën fan.
Seb apparently had offers for one of the other manufacturers, he said he turned down a big money contract to go with M-Sport, so I respect him even more for this.
Erm, but the technology is very possible. Sat phone technology covers the planet right? It’s not like ships have no communications when crossing the Pacific or other great oceans. I understand it will be a pain in the arse to fit aircraft with this technology, but it is possible and it should be done, regardless of…
I understand it’s very hard, but I’m saying they should do it, it is very possible in this day and age. It’s not harder then throwing 300 tonnes of aluminium across the sea.
Exactly, my work can find out exactly where my van is, and what speed I’m doing, and that’s just a grocery delivery van, not a fucking 777. Why can’t we just bung a tracker on them that sends data every 10 seconds? It can’t be hard.
How utterly dull. Just like F1.
Still think my mates VW Passat was the best use of fake wood.
Skoda’s are actually much more reliable then there VW counterparts, apparently the Czechs really know how to bolt together a Volkswagen.
As someone who currently drives an E46 330i with a leak in his power steering system. No. Don’t bring back manual steering. No.
Sister got married there last year, can confirm, is amazing.
Funny you mention this, I’ve always wanted to take one to Holy Island on high tide, just to see the reaction of the locals me showing up when the water’s in.
In the North East of England? I highly doubt it, it happens all the time. Guy probably has a drone because he’s bored and there’s nothing else to do in that part of Northumberland.
My Sister got married in this castle last year and when I was leaving it was a few hours before high tide, but there was still a lot of standing water on the road, I’ve never driven so fast through standing water not pretending I was a rally driver.
I’m from Newcastle, and lived in Wales for a few years, driving delivery vans in mid-Wales, so I’m very familiar with the countryside, but I obviously need to spend more time there, never seen one before. I’ve even delivered near some of the WRC stages, Sweet Lamb was at the far corner of my delivery zone. Certainly…
