So you’re against awards for past performances but for awards based on underdog status?

Lol, are you joking? Thats an insanely huge number. Imagine how many people are running their A/C’s all over the country and then double it. 1% of anything the freaking United States does is mindboggingly significant.

As others have mentioned, the Hot Mustard is still widely available, just not 100% of all locations carry it. Several around me do.

Are sunbirds the opposite of snowbirds, they travel to get away from summer?

I’m sorry, I still don’t see what problem you have with what I’ve said. What limit besides inflation stops the federal government on spending whatever they want?

Which part of my first post? That we create money out of thin air? We do, that’s literally what Fiat means. I only qualified dependent because I guess congress could artificially tie in a spending bill for example to some kind of revenue consideration.

What did I say that was economically illiterate? Do you think federal spending is wholly dependent on federal tax revenue?

What else is incorrect that i said? My point is that federal spending is not dependent on federal tax revenue by any real constraints except inflation, which is controlled by taxing money out of the economy.

I love you

You could say... “well, that much money would feed X number of children, provide full healthcare to x number of people, fund x number of job programs etc....

The US is a sovereign currency issuer by grace of the constitution, we make our own money and can’t run out, we don’t depend on taxes the same way a person depends on their income to spend. This is my only point. You’re right that the Fed Reserve is a quasi governmental agency but that doesn’t conflict with anything

The United States is absolutely a sovereign currency issuer.

Huh, just the fact that we raise it constantly must signal to you that its an arbitrary limit, its a legislative policy not a economic reality like you or my’s credit card limit. Also thats about borrowing money, not government spending.

The deficits in the trillions and we’ve managed to have some very nice and expensive wars whenever we want. Believe me, the gov’t is not waiting for people like bezos to write them a check  before they can set up universal healthcare.

As i said elsewhere, the money you send to pay your federal taxes don’t fund the government in the same way your paycheck funds your living expenses. Obviously, since we’ve managed to have very expensive wars when the deficit was in the trillions. The federal government can and does spend as much as it wants, the only

The federal government does not spend your tax money on anything. The main purpose of federal taxes is to fight inflation, not to fund the thing it spends on. Unlike state taxes, the federal government creates money out of thin air when it spends.

First, I’ll need all the cocaine you got

never forget that 3/4 of People stories are glorified press releases” BREAKING NEWS: POT CALLS KETTLE BLACK!!!!

Wish they would ask them why the hell they coulden’t write a second half to Wonderwall instead of just repeating the first half. Its a pretty easy rhyme scheme, I could have probably come up with something.

Agreed, its very easy if you can sublimate all your snacking and pleasure eating entirely on cheese which i was able to do. I would also feed my fast food addiction by just throwing the bun away at mcdonalds.
