My point is that the United States government does not have to budget in the same way as a household. Spending isn’t dependent on income or tax revenue.

Again, thats not how taxes and spending works, you don’t know anything about currency. A SOVEREIGN CURRENCY ISSUER LIKE THE UNITED STATES IS NOT A PERSON OR FAMILY, stop comparing their economics! 

Taxes are not “income” for the federal government. Taxes take money out of the private sector which fights inflation, the only actual risk associated with federal government spending. Stop comparing the US, which creates the currency we use to pay debt, with people.

A country, especially the United States which issues its own currency, is not a family. We literally cannot go broke. The only real risk of federal spending is inflation, which taxes fight.

Thats the worst of it all because it derails people who are most likely to adopt actual good left wing policies and selling them a busted product(centrist,  corporate politics) instead.

To be honest, I love all the chapo guys and girl with all my heart and podcasts are my #1 source of entertainment, but I found CTH almost unlistenable. Its just not a very pleasant podcast experience, especially after listening to all the stuff that comes out of the LA comedy scene.

Lack of intellectual understanding of big issues at best and the intentional selling out of left wing political power to corporate interests at worst, also its not a very good podcast

My complaint is that their political beliefs are stupid and wrong and they’re boring people.
