Was it freeplay? Cause im curious how many quarters it took you guys

You gonna give me a ride to Topeka then?

I don't know if its exactly Russian culture or Russian adjacent , but I remember reading that in weddings specifically, the Bride has to have a dour expression on her face at all times.

I've seen this article before used to speculate as to how the concept of god developed. I'm not really seeing the borg connection. I don't believe this theory holds any weight with any actual scientists working in these fields.

I refuse to believe they even programmed any levels after 2 for several games, Space Mutants being one of them, Festers Quest being another. Its a literally impossible gameplay mechanic.

Like alot of other fondly remembered beat em up arcade games of the era, X-Men, Ninja Turtles, the forced playtime limitation of childhood allowances leads one to overestimate how much of a game there really was, skill wise. When I play them on emulators and you can just press continue I noticed how unfair the hitbox

Gotta be a rough day for the old self confidence when your agent gleefully gives the news that he thinks he can get you the Penguin gig.

Like Wayne's World, its a good mix of SNL style character based broad comedy and excellent use of setting.

Meyers doesn't play him so I can't say for sure how involved he was in the writing of that character, but if he did had a hand in it, I'd give him credit for creating the two most underrated comedic characters of the 90's, Del Preston and the scottish dad from Axe Murderer.

Have you seen Danger 5? I usually describe it as a live action Archer mixed with Mighty Boosh.

This comment is relevant to my interests.

I wonder if in the other time periods the Fifth Element was needed to destroy evil, the stones werent a big deal at all to get but making the perfect being fall in love was a big hassle, like those were rom coms intead of action scifi

Its telegraphed a little though, he tells his friend he's waiting for the "perfect" woman

I feel pretty confident I'm going to enjoy the multi genre and randomly set "A Star Wars Story" movies more then the continuation of the Episodes. After the prequels and TFA, seems like the epic adventure style that 4,5,6 were probably lighting in a bottle and really only Lucas and Spielberg were able do old style

I've heard that too but since the whole thing is just a New Hope pastiche it makes sense for them to have a swashbuckling pilot, that's why its strange they do a bait and switch in the beginning of the film.

The Force Awakens makes the most maddeningly dumb plot choice I think I've ever seen. It introduces the only halfway charismatic character, Poe, and then inexplicably deletes him from the movie until the last third. Its like if Luke and Ben declined Han Solo's services after meeting with him at Mos Eisley but then

Ryan Stanger of the Dumbells pod did such a pitch perfect imitation of Wiger's "But, I like Fries" whine on his podcast.

People keep saying that, about their role in the ecosystem, but I'm having trouble conceptualizing it. I know land predators keep other animal populations in check and thats a good thing for a number of agricultural or "circle of life" purposes but if sharks only eat fish what would be the effect of no sharks? Too

I mean I do it too but its really horrible for your liver to have to process both.

Right, I guess I meant don't mix different types in general.
