Join the club. COTD several months ago, still no star. Then again, I work for a living, so posting during the day is a bit of a problem, and posting on Opposite Lock really doesn't count for shit, star wise.

Here, you can have mine. Just don't tell our significant others. ;)

When I was younger and my wife & I had no kids, this usually kept me awake for the drive down to her parents house. I could stay very focused for approximately 20 - 30 minutes and be awake for the rest of the drive.

Yep, audio books, or, as we used to call them, "books on tape", are one of the better ways to pass the time of a long road trip. Michael Chrichton is an excellent companion. And a big thumbs up for the socialists among us who support their local libraries. ;)

But think of all the children that will be saved with a piece of technology, that is already in

Damn it. I should have trade marked that phrase. I could have made a mint off of selling Veyrwannabe body kits to people of questionable taste and large amounts of disposable income. There goes my kids college fund. :(

Assuming this is actually legit and of reasonable quality, I'm with Matt on this. Finding an old Civic 2 door and applying the vast amount of fiberglas, bondo and time that it would take to assemble this into some semblance of a "custom" car, would earn some respect from me. What would you rather drive, a 15 year old

Pick Me! I'm here!

Wow, someone who actually knows what they're talking about. How refreshing. Now, please GTFO, we can't have reasonableness in this country. Thank, you.

I'm with you. I normally steer clear of "reality" shows, but Storage Wars and Pawn Stars are just two shows I can't walk away from. I just HAVE to know, "what's in that storage shed".

This guy.

I'm sorry, but I don't get the reference. One of only two or three I couldn't figure out. Help an old man out on this. I still want to try and be relevant.

I was disappointed there were no D-7's or Warbirds.

The local car show was last weekend, and the local VW dealer had a new Beetle, in white, with those wheels. I damn near screamed like a little girl. It just looked so right for that car. With those rims, I could almost, almost see me driving that car. But I hear Mazda & Chevy are bringing out diesels as well, so we'll

4th Gear:

I'm thinking there was more damage than just to the rear of the car. I could be wrong, but that isn't the standard steering wheel for a Taurus, as it doesn't seem to have an airbag, which was standard in the Taurus, I believe. That, and the old rule for never buying someone's project car still applies.

If they don't, Honda has gone completely down the shit hole. I bought my wife the 1st gen CR-V, and we used that little table plenty of times. People always thought that was a great feature of the car when we pulled it out.
