Well, one problem might be that there aren't any Volts to be had, if the online search feature from GM is to be believed. I live in N.W. Ohio, 60 miles south of Detroit, and yet there are no, zero, nada Volts on hand in any dealership within 150 miles of me. I've personally seen maybe two within the past six months

My first car was a 1990 Geo Prizm. Absolutely unkillable. With a 5-speed stick, larger wheels & tires and light weight made it really tossable. Traded it in for $500 with over 240K on the clock, with the engine still humming like a sewing machine.
