Wow, $3,000 took it all. As has been said, take out all the extraneous sound equipment, sell it and you may be ahead of the ball game.
No basement = No problem,
This is like some weird Crying Game kind of moment, where you start peeking underneath and yell, OMFG!, what they hell is THAT doing there!
Maybe I should take a picture of the '79 Honda Accord 2 door hatchback that is sitting for sale at a Big Boy parking lot near me. It's purple, showing some surface rust and the owner is asking an incredible $2,500 for it. I'm thinking crack-pipe all the way at that price.
My sister in Kentucky has a powder blue Olds Vista Cruiser the same vintage as that Buick Roadmaster. I always thought it would look VERY cool all "murdered" out in flat black paint and appropriate wheels.
It's not dirty. It has an earty "patina". That alone is worth an extra $10,000.
@stjohn:
I especially liked the BMW driver with the bluetooth earpiece. Just like Clarkson had when he was bombing around that test track in the M3, along with the Audi RS4 and Mercedes C63 AMG. In his words, "epic".
OK, Motor Trend is for people who drive cars, but don't particularly care about them. Car & Driver is for the Chevy lovin' guy who also yearns to drive that exotic Italian. Road & Track, dead on, as I got it for one year (as a GIFT!) and just couldn't get into it. But what about Automobile? Is it just a C&D wanna be?…
Had to go with the Transformer Peapod in this group. My son just received Prowl for his 1/2 birthday (don't ask, my wife thinks 1/2 B-Days are important). Very well done, better than in the other groups.
I'd only do this if the Citroen transforms into one of those cool ass robots like they do in the commercials. Otherwise, no deal.
What, and the Prius has a "high quality" interior? If it didn't have hybrid drive, it would have been laughed off the dealers lots due to its poor interior & weird exterior.
If that #50 Cavalier was $500, I'll eat my helmet.
Simple question:
Great, didn't read all the post & hit the jump. Video playing while I'm answering my phone in the office when my boss comes up from behind me (wait, that sounds very wrong in this context). His response was, great way to waste some bandwidth, WTF is that? At least I have a boss with a sense of humor. Whew!
Ya see, I look at the Volt from the Transformers leaked video, and it doesn't look bad. Long hood, short rear deck, dark blue color & blacked out roof give it some real presence. The light teal in the "leaked" photo, along with the washed out effect on the roof, make the Volt appear very bland and effeminate. I hope…
My son & I made it to the race at about 12:00 noon today, and he was very excited to see all of the cars. His personal favorite was car #2, as it had a cool exhaust pipe & was a "convertable". I was rooting for the Olds' Ninety Eight. It was slow & plodding, looking like Grandma was driving it around the track. But it…
