You’re confusing price and value. They are two different things.

Best part of the Vibe/Matrix? Rear hatch has a hinged window. The office manager for my employer has a Matrix, and never knew the rear glass opened until I showed it to her last year. I’d love that option for my Focus, but Ford was too cheap to copy this design.

Your top two pics have fixtures from the 1950's, at the latest, are quality pieces and should be kept if possible. The bottom may be from the 60's or 70's, going by that wild wall paper. The 70's decor loved pea soup green, burnt orange and and browns, really, really dark brown.

October would be much better than January. I hate wearing a heavy coat into the auto show, so I usually just wear a heavy sweater and hope to be able to park reasonably close, and not freeze on the way in. A few months earlier, and I can enjoy a nice walk in Detroit and see the beautiful fall colors.

I’m off to the salvage yard tomorrow to pick some parts for my Focus, looking for some brake parts, door handles and trim pieces. Other than the typical wrenches, hammer and screw drivers, anything you’d recommend on taking, just in case I need to pull something I’d never thought of??

Wouldn’t the parents be able to invoke their 5th Amendment right to not incriminate themselves? As noted by other commenters, there are other electric Rav-4's out in California land that have fewer miles and are priced lower. Based upon that, the seller is in CP territory. Drop the price by about $3,000, and it may be a deal, but not at $18,500.
