You’re confusing price and value. They are two different things.
Your top two pics have fixtures from the 1950's, at the latest, are quality pieces and should be kept if possible. The bottom may be from the 60's or 70's, going by that wild wall paper. The 70's decor loved pea soup green, burnt orange and and browns, really, really dark brown.
The Ford was less expensive than either the Prelude or Corrado, by a lot. The Probe handled better than the VW, and was as quick or quicker. The Talon was, by that time, needing a revamp (which it did get fairly soon), but was fairly crude, with pretty noticeable turbo lag, auto seat belts and worse MPG. The MX-6 had…
I needed some of those cards 20 - 30 years ago, when I was constantly asked about my height, and I’m only 6'4". I have two cousins who are 2 - 4 inches taller than me, and are constantly asked about their height. My son is 6'2" at the moment, and is just turning 15 at the end of the month. I hope he stops growing at…
Yep..
As a very unskilled mechanical person, I’ve found that going to the pick & pull auto salvage yard is also a great way to practice a repair before attempting on your own car. I have to replace a broken door handle on my Focus, which isn’t that big of deal, but does require removing the door panel and a few odds & ends.…

A few months earlier, and I can enjoy a nice walk in Detroit and see the beautiful fall colors.
I’m off to the salvage yard tomorrow to pick some parts for my Focus, looking for some brake parts, door handles and trim pieces. Other than the typical wrenches, hammer and screw drivers, anything you’d recommend on taking, just in case I need to pull something I’d never thought of??
Wouldn’t the parents be able to invoke their 5th Amendment right to not incriminate themselves? Far be it from me to cast doubt on the state prosecutor, but what would prevent him/her from bringing charges against the parents for aiding and abetting or something similar after a successful prosecution?
Interesting car, way too small for anything but weekend jaunts along country roads.
As noted by other commenters, there are other electric Rav-4's out in California land that have fewer miles and are priced lower. Based upon that, the seller is in CP territory. Drop the price by about $3,000, and it may be a deal, but not at $18,500.
