This definitely ranks in there as one of the more emotionally complex articles I have read of late. You would think that a really divisive topic would be more inspire more thought, but with this everyone is in total agreement that these events are the height of nobility/unjust bullshit.

I've only cosplayed once, but for me it was as much about the fun of the tribute and getting to feel like one of your favorite characters for a day. I figure that doing the poses and such just enlivens that experience a little more than a bunch of pictures of anime/video game characters standing about.

Says the person publicly posting an inflammatory comment on a news blog. ;)

But maybe she is the greatest thief ever and she actually could carry a vat of chili and continue to shoplift. That's what I would like to think.

The Drew Falchetta piece is amazing.

This makes me so happy. But on a serious note, EA just stop with all the Steam-hate when you have a history of being fuck-ups at supporting your own products.

FFS NOTCH! Creepers are still scary as fuck if you ever run into one in a situation you didn't plan. Ugh, I don't need this shit man. Also, I hope that the moving blocks thing isn't implemented. That'd be really annoying.

Ahhh, but simply having the name "premium account" does not determine what that actually entails (which in this case are two very different things). Also, you have to separate the community's opinion and community created mods from the company and its actual implementations.

Valve did things very differently in TF2. Most importantly, there is nothing stopping newer players from playing on servers with older players. If anything, Valve promotes direct interaction between old and new players.

They could've maintained some type of weird body morphing thing... or at least not given him pretty boy hair *grumble*

Say what you will about League of Legends, but Riot just seems to be far more business savvy than S2. That it took this long for HoN to go f2p would be enough, but the decision to encourage the splitting of the community into veteran and new players, while attractive on paper and maybe even pleasant in the short

For some reason King of Fighters and I have never truly crossed paths although I think I would love it. At this point I just really want to play as K999, because shit: Tetsuo.

It's the way in which the characters in the adds for the black and Latina vagina-hands lean so very heavily on caricature and stereotype.

Honestly, I don't think this is really much of a two sided issue. Steam has always been really good at getting me patches for games whether they be Valve's or another developer's. EA has NEVER done a good job of getting me patches for their own games.

Slap complete strangers in the face with your genitals

I can barely stand drinking lemon-drop shots and vodka too.

Somehow, the addition of "mazel tov" to the end of that horrid poster board in the article header makes it so much worse.

I feel like there are almost too many awesome people involved in this to be good. Forcibly lowering my expectations is the only way I will be able to deal.

The joy I will feel if I can get this game will be intense. But, the fear of not getting it is tremendous; the fury and the sorrow such an event would cause... I'd rather not imagine. In the end, it will probably be alright though.

Wait, so are they removing Takki completely? What about Kilik and Xianghua? I leave a franchise for a couple iterations (because I don't own a console) and everything just goes crazy >:(
