You know, I've been excited about Brink for a while, but I've never been particularly moved by the story until now. Between more personality on display in the characters than has been previously shown and a solid editing job, this video added another aspect of the game I'm looking forward to.

I didn't find it offensive (and I thought it was funnier than most SNL sketches), but since the comedy was oriented more to the cleverness of the insults than on the absurdity of them happening at all I could see why they might not want to run it.

It's hardly scientific, but I have noticed that women I have been in relationships with can stand far hotter water in the shower than I can. I don't disagree with your point, just giving my own version of tangible experience on the subject.

I'm not saying anybody/everybody should rage, I'm just saying that if someone wants to complain about, Sony now is a pretty reasonable moment to do so.

I think the people who are pissed have the right to be. Losing access to online functionality for nearly 10% of a year following the release of two of the year's biggest games and maybe having your credit card and personal info stolen too—sounds like its worth a little rage to me.

Whoa whoa whoa. In many ways Wonder Woman is similar to Superman, but she is hardly a "female version of a pre-existing male hero." That's actually pretty divergent from the inspirations behind her creation. When the role which WW would fill was originally conceived, it wasn't even set to be for a woman. Once it

My vote goes to the Nintendo Wii2 "spike that would inexplicably fire out of the console, impaling anyone in its path" fiasco. That was a crazy couple months.

I can't explain it at all, but I am having trouble getting excited for ME3. I loved ME and ME2 was a strong follow up. What's going on?

Oh Dark Forces and X-Wing vs. Tie. I remember you so well. Those were the days when I still loved Star Wars and had faith in anything Lucas Arts put out.

Don't let the miserable prequels deter you from watching the originals. They share nothing in common.

Meta-time: This is the second time I've seen this article written about on Gawker, but the first (which I believe was on io9) took a much less skeptical approach to its claims. Now I want to see an article discussing some of the specifics of different interpretations of information in media targeted at different

Thanks. I saw things suggesting that 18 ton average but I didn't think to look up transportation limits. So, if they were able to get these standardized then they would at least be carrying comparable weight to a semi (and in the case of the 50 ton haulers, much more).

They had sniper rifles in the cinematic trailer and, from an article about the making of this and other pre-rendered trailers, I know the devs were trying to stick with enhanced models from the game itself. That said, I haven't seen any mention of them in actual gameplay vids/stills.

Mmmm, I'd say that the difference between human meat and any other meat is mostly philosophical, but the only thing that would make us food is if we eat ourselves (or if something eats us anyway).

If we could replace long distance shipping by truck, that'd be pretty awesome. That's a lot less gas being used. But how much can one airship carry in comparison to a semi and how much of a speed difference would there be.

"And only you can set them free." By chewing and pooping? Weird.

I dig the meeting of analog and digital in these. More weird than the art is the fact that all those slices of human look so much like food-meat.

Yeah, in the end it would be beneficial to more flexible play and strategy exploration to be able to change body type without having to start a new char. I am just a very story oriented gamer so, in my head, I always come up with various backgrounds and personalities for different characters I make in game and that

I won't tell you to be more or less excited, but you do have to remember that emphasizing one aspect of a game doesn't somehow exclude other aspects. This video showed what you do when you are at key points of interaction. It didn't show how you get to and from these locations.
