No, nothing bad. It just has to load on a program so that it can pull your hardware specs.

I've been watching these every day on Brink's website and I really enjoy them for some reason.
Oh hadn't you heard. It was leaked that the Pyro is a *suddenly men in black suits burst into the room grabbing me and slipping a black bag over my face. Gabe Newell peers from the doorway. "You heard nothing. You saw nothing." Calmly, Gabe turns and walks away and the room is left in an uncomfortable silence*
You know how ants use pheromones to communicate while bees use instinctual "dances" to relay information?
I don't think the issue is with Catholicism, which is a system of belief which can mean infinite different things to different people, but rather the church which, regardless of what dogma you believe, is composed of a group of fallible, individual mortals.
The church's stance:
There is some weird Hollywood-vision thing going on here. Malin Akerman and Kate Hudson sort of look alike but neither really looks like Linda Lovelace. What's the deal with that?
*slow claps*
Over thinking? No such thing. Unless, of course, your brain is wired with a bomb that will detonate when a certain amount of thinking has been reached. But, then again, would the bomb only measure conscious thoughts or would it include the subconscious? And that doesn't even touch the question of brain controlled…
I love Janelle Monae. She's just awesome (and rather striking to boot).
Indeed.
Well... That got dark pretty quick there, eh?
That's pretty intense. It makes me wonder if there is any series I feel that way about. Hmmmm... Nothing I can think of at the moment. I love Guild Wars, TF2, and Dawn of War (well I love WH40k so I sort of have to love DoW) but I can see these being collection level deals.
I f'ing loved Hero Quest. For a super nerd kid who never had any way to try real pen & paper roleplaying, this was pure gold. In recent years I have done a decent amount of real RPG, but this makes me want to crack out the old box in tribute.
Actually, I know for fact that the coast guard has some computer guided guns on its boats with rather advanced face-tracking technology. All it needs is the ability to see through walls and there you go.
You could also view it as a deeper (if somewhat morbid) interest in the science of something that we see depicted over and over again in all media. The "headshot" is such a film and video game trope now that it has to make one at least a little curious how it works (sociopath in training or otherwise).
Heh, I certainly have no intention of that. My personal preferences had me just as worried at the "don't knock if you haven't tried it" thing as everyone else.
This is interesting. You talking about your teachers makes me think that my own teachers never really said much of anything about the events (and my highschool was within walking distance of the White House and we could see the smoke from the Pentagon). Weird.
