Yeah but in BF, when you are on fire you tend to end up looking more like this. You don't get to maintain the proud, "I'm burning to death" strut you get in Magicka.

"CATCHPHRASE!"

How do you improve the CoD sundae? You let people eat it with a spoon out of a bowl instead of off of the table with their hands.

I thought you guys were gonna go with "burn an old man, singe all his flesh off," chanted in a sing song voice, but I guess your mantra works too.

I don't see why people are so bothered by the single player focus in this demo. That goes doubly when the reps showing the demo state that they are primarily focused on the multiplayer and describe the single player as a warm-up for multi.

It doesn't seem that strange, especially since this is just an early demo. It's laying out the groundwork for later demonstrations. The result is then that once BF has shown that it can do what CoD does (and do it better) when it starts breaking out its own unique features they raise it above its competitor (rather

Even though I don't know how I feel about the concept (I don't have anything against it, it just weirds me out) I love the logic this seems to call up that Vietnam is a natural theme for any game's expansion to take. I also appreciate that the Magicka: Vietnam image actually makes more sense in terms of what happens

Whacky Deus Ex assault rifle. Awesome inclusion. I actually only just finished the first game a few hours ago (after a couple years of off and on play).

Those graphics are ridiculous. I really want to see it in multiplayer though. The animations were so good that I have to see what happens to them when you throw them into the human-controlled meat grinder.

I'm not interested in finding an actual new CCG, but rather a video game which uses CCG mechanics without using a CCG business model. My days of buying cards are long gone.

I'd love to play a CCG-game (game, game-game) where they don't force you to actually buy booser packs as if you were collecting real cards. I like CCG and their video game relatives tend to be pretty fun but they are always plagued by the tendency for the devs to try to money milk the players.

I have absolutely no clue how to feel... I really like Magicka though.

No, it's something different. I can't really explain what it is.

The ladies are always getting the axe. With all the customization it would've been great. :(

Somehow... I know what you mean...

I suppose that makes sense. I most just play single player, co-op, and that single hero co-op thing. However, that's at least a positive way to think about it. Hadn't thought about it that way at all.

Oh man, really great article and a really fantastic reminder of the joys of my youth. Righteous post Cyriaque. Thank you.

I'm just going to type some random symbols into the keyboard. If they happen to be a link to watch this movie online then that'll just be really convenient.

You too eh?

You done preaching Nick? Now let me:
