The reason why they do this is because of name recognition. Whether it be a team or a popular character. X-23 had her own book a few years ago, but it didn’t last. Not for lack of quality, but because her name doesn’t carry the star power that Wolverine does. It’s all marketing, people.

As I know, there are exceptions to every rule. Do you listen to the audiobook over and over again though? My only knowledge of audiobook prices comes from seeing them at target and they're usually twice as much as the book itself, so theres obviously someone out there buying them at that price

DVD's are very different though. Audiobooks are very lengthy. Movies take 2-3 hours of your time and that's it. Some people like rewatching movies over and over again.
